Yesterday's Condo

Cinco is still practicing his diving abilities, it seems, but not as dramatically. That's fine with me. Looks like a low blue surf. :-D After last night's flat yellow cycle, I wasn't sure what I was in for today. We're going out tonight, so I hope he restrains himself then. I really need a night out with the gang. Paws crossed. But we're not done with this morning's cycle yet....

I left Sasha's t-shirt off yesterday after her aloe rubdown, but I did put the sock back on because she was over-cleaning a couple of spots that were already bare skin. The sock covers a much smaller area, but it does cover the bare spots. She was chewing at it last night and I had to trim several strings off it. She may decide to destroy it today, so I'll have to keep checking. DH may be called upon to sacrifice another sock before this is over. That's okay - he doesn't wear white tube socks very often anymore, anyway. :lol:

I've already spent too long in front of the computer this morning. I haven't even had breakfast. I get so caught up reading condos. Gotta tear myself away. The tummy is making a heck of a noise.

So nice of your DH to willingly or unwillingly sacrifice tube socks for the betterment of the kitteh.....

I hope you get to go out tonight because every Diabetic cat owner deserves a night out! I have lots of tube socks to offer. I just don't have 2 that match. :lol:

Okay, so it's not a dive. My bad. A drop of 98 looks big to me! He made a u-turn and is now well inland. I'm hoping he likes it well enough there to stay for the evening.

Molly, Cinco can't take credit for teaching Skooter. China is LL's cliff diving champion. Skooter's more of a slider, too.

Not a bad day for Cinco! Maybe he could come remind China how to slide? Of course tonight we're back to that awful flat yellow :sad:

Think next week if I can swing it, Miss China's going to the vet for a check up...see if there's something going on besides her being too fat

You've had so much on your plate lately, and I'm hoping the night out will help you relax a bit. I know you have some difficult decisions to make regarding the furry ones. No advice from me - just follow your heart. It won't steer you wrong.

If you need some spare tube socks, let me know. I have a whole basketful of lone socks whose partners were apparently devoured by the bloodthirsty washing machine. :lol:

We went out and had fun, but I really hesitated when I saw the PMPS. I left two plates of LC, and he was already working on one as we left - this after eating his dinner and seconds! I should have known that was a sign he was going to drop. We stayed out a couple hours later than I wanted to. DH rebuilt a computer for one of our friends, and after cards he set it up for her. These things always take more time than you expect. I was on pins and needles on the long (1.25 hours) drive home, nailbite_smile and when I saw the plates were empty, I was not surprised to see he had been in the lagoon. I only wish I knew how low he went, but I guess what I don't know won't hurt me, right? At least he is fine - just hungry! I gave him a snack when I tested him at 8.5, and even though it's late, I'll give him a little FD salmon when I do a final poke before bed (got another dose of eye drops to give him yet). I'm glad we have no plans to be gone for more than an hour or so the rest of the week. My nerves can't take it!

Thanks for the offer, Shelly, serious or not. I think Sasha'll be okay on the socks I've got right now. It looks like the fur is almost all gone from the area that's shedding. I put the tank top on her, and that covered her barest spots, which are the ones I'm most concerned about her irritating with too much washing. Of course, she has been known to get out of that top, but it was still on when we got home, so maybe she'll leave it alone. Hopefully. :?

China, I's sorry if you feel insulted. I just wanted you to pway wif me an' Skooter, but you was busy on the yellow floor, I guess. Maybe tomorrow? I still luvs you! - Cinco
