Hello LL!!

Yesterday's condo: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=124385

I have been in and out all day, but for the past 3 hours that I've been home, I only heard one tiny cough! Paws crossed it's getting better. Her neck still looks quite scabby, but she has been itching slightly less tonight.

Dose wise, I'm sensing some NDW on the scene after our increase last night, but that's okay.

Both cats are enjoying the cool evening with the windows open. Some people are moving in down the street and there is a uhaul out front...Billie has been monitoring their every move

Vines to all the cats and beans in need! I hope everyone who doesn't feel well feels better very soon.

Hi Deanna!

Did you goof and put the wrong dose in this morning or did you shoot 1.25 again for some reason?

Re: 8/30 Billie PMPS 200 +2.25 255

That's great news on the (lack of) coughing! I feel so sorry for Billie with the hives. Unfortunately, I break out in hives whenever I'm really stressed out and know how miserable they are. Thank goodness for oatmeal baths (although that probably wouldn't be as relaxing for Billie as it is for me ).

Sending continued healing vines her way and some don't-forget-to-take-care-of-yourself vines for you. (It's just a hunch that you're neglecting yourself a bit right now.) :YMHUG:

Hi Deanna, glad to hear about less coughing and hoping Billie's itching is getting less and less, how uncomfortable for her. I was reading with interest your Clavamox Alfredo sauce :-D Too bad you can't thicken it with cornstarch, but that would not work for a sugarcat! I was reading that someone on the Relaxed forum wraps pills in low fat cream cheese, haven't tried it myself but it might work for a cat who likes dairy products. Good luck with this dosecrease, you are such a good momma bean and do remember to take care of yourself as well!

Thanks for visiting, Chris and Shelly!!

Chris, good catch - I did shoot 1.5 this morning but the 6:30am version of me definitely goofed when recording it. @-)

Shelly, thanks for the vines!! They are much appreciated. I have definitely been doing some extra worrying on top of my usual worrying lately, but I did get out swimming yesterday!

So far, I only heard one more cough all night, so that makes only two small coughs in 6 hours. I'll take it! Okay, as soon as I typed that, she coughed again...I should have anti-jinxed myself  Still, only 3 small coughs, and no fits - not bad at all compared to the last few days!

DB and a friend stopped by tonight, and as they were leaving, we were standing in a circle talking/making plans for later this week. Billie walked over and sat down right next to us, making herself part of the circle, and looked up at us like "yeah guys, what's the plan?" Adorable. cat_pet_icon

Poor Miss Billie - more feel better vines headed your way. Looks like she may be starting to work the extra juice!

How cute on her joining the circle to find out what was going on. cat_pet_icon

Thanks Jen!! I also think she is working the juice now.

I am wondering if I am causing a "milk spike" by mixing milk with her ABs and giving that after her PS meal. I know milk naturally has some carbs in it, and maybe that's why she was high around +2 then came down? Or maybe it's just wonkiness. The milk is a great trick to get her to take all her medicine without having to go through the drama of a syringe, so it's probably worth it temporarily. If I see the same pattern tomorrow morning, maybe I'll start giving her ABs around +3 or so instead.

ETA: Ruth, thanks for visiting and for the kind words! I think I was posting as you were posting and just saw it now. Cream cheese is a good idea. I could even try mixing the liquid AB with that for my Dairy Queen. She really loves all dairy...even plain butter. I hope Tiger is doing well!

At least you had an excuse Deanna! It was morning!

Tonight at PMPS time, I got the cat food, went to our test/shoot spot, got the strip out, loaded it into the meter, put China up so I could test her, fed her and went to put the food away....Only forgot a few steps like:

Drawing up the shot

Shooting the cat

Luckily I had a nagging feeling I was forgetting something and eventually figured out what it was...of course by then, the "routine" had been broken and China wasn't really happy about it.

Nice that Billie made it back into blue tonight!! Let's work that juice a little harder now Billie!
