AMPS - "Hi", which is >500 on my meter
+2 - 456
+7 - 426
PMPS - 401
+2 - 316
+4 - 248

Her numbers are still up there, just like last night....hopefully they'll start coming down now that she's up to 3. Notexactly sure still as to what caused it. But besides that, I was checking how her overall looks were since when she isn't well all that goes down the drain. And she's active, her fur is the best it's been in a while(almost as good as when she was a kiten!), eyes lookin' great, no dandruff(which is rare for her), perfect weight is still holding steady, and just overall back to how she was before diabetes. Now we just need to see some better numbers.

Great WCR (Whole Cat Report)! Yes, we are numbers driven around here but it's most important to look at your kitty's quality of life. The numbers will get better. Happy Friday!

Re: 8/3-Tip-AMPS(>500), +2(456);

We always did try to cox her to come down from high places when she was litle, guess she hasn't changed with this. I distinctly remember one day when she had fallen asleep on top of the curtains. Hopefully she won't need much more coaxing here.

Happy Friday. :) Yeah, I'm definitely happy with how she's getting along.

Re: 8/3-Tip-AMPS(>500), +2(456), +7(426), PMPS(401);

Hey! She's finally out of those black numbers for her pre-shot! I'm thinking that whenever she gets a little dehydrated, they move up some, because I hadn't had time to add water. But I made it real soupy last night for her before-bed snack, for breakfast, and for her mid-day snack. PMPS numbers? 401. I made it real soupy again. Hopefully this means more progress. :)

And almost pink! A nice all day slide. Keep that going, Tip! Great job in adding the water. Diabetics are perpetually dehydrated. That is too funny about falling asleep on top of the curtains. :lol:

Very nice!!! Let's hope this dose will settle in and she'll start coming down more. You might want to read this about New Dose Wonkiness

I'm so glad to hear that the insulin is starting to help her get back to her normal self. :-D :-D

Re: 8/3-Tip-AMPS(>500), +2(456), +7(426), PMPS(401), +2(316)

And she is in the pink! Should I get a +4 and a +6? Looks like her slide is still going. Heh, yeah, she always terrified me though that she'd fall in her sleep. I swear, we went through so many curtains because of her. After replacing the curtain the 2nd or 3rd time, we gave up and waited it out until she decided it wasn't fun anymore and then replaced 'em.

Oh, right, it might've been that though? But wouldn't it show up after the dose and not right before? I did read it, and it sounds like that was part of it.

Re: 8/3-Tip-AMPS(>500), +2(456), +7(426), PMPS(401), +2(316)

She gets fed at AMPS, +6, PMPS, +4.5 usually. Sometimes my schedule changes that, but I try to have her eat 4 meals a day. I'm slowly trying to balance it out, but right now she gets more food at AMPS and PMPS than +6 and +4.5.

Re: 8/3-Tip-AMPS(>500), +2(456), +7(426), PMPS(401), ..., +4

She's in the yellow! :D Came in at 248 for her +4. Seems like we might've found her dose! Because she's going to dip more and be 'low'(to her body until it gets used to better numbers), should I be looking out for a bounce? Also, I've run out of room in the subject. ): What should I do about that?

Alright, she slowed down to a nice 245. Nice. Hopefully there won't be a bounce. :)
