8/3 Salem PMPS 547, need advice on syringe feeding

It was turkey and giblets. 102 calories per 3oz can.

I think thats only around 170 calories per 5.5 oz. Wellness Turkey is 218 calories. So for the same amount of food you'd be getting in an additional 48 calories which is a big difference. Do you normally feed Wellness Turkey? If not could you syringe feed this instead of fancy feast? It's grain free and should be very low carbs.

I don't have any of the wellness left right now. I have the Purina MD, and a bunch of varieties of Friskies, and one can of Fancy Feast Liver and Chicken Dinner.

Ok, I've fed him two more syringes (or close to it). He started getting really upset towards the end of the second, so it was short about 30 ccs. But I'd rather he have a little less than stress him out more. The poor boy's been poked, prodded, and IVd for days now, and is still feeling stressed. I'm going to leave him alone until his AMPS and shot tomorrow morning.

In the meantime, I need sleep badly. And a shower to rinse off bits of cat food, tuna, pee, and god knows what else.
