Yesterday

Hi Everyone,
The day got away from me (too much paperwork!), but not from Rusty, who regained his appetite and was supervising the lagoon this afternoon. Hopefully he'll get back there this evening and give his deputies a break.
Our weather has gotten more humid and storms are expected tonight. Hopefully they will not continue into tomorrow morning, since we are going on a paddle and then stopping at our friends' camp for chocolate-chip cookies (tomorrow is, apparently, National Chocolate-Chip Cookie Day).

bbl, gotta watch some of the Mets' game. The season is really getting interesting, now that they are winning.

You were close Ella....August 4th is National Chocolate Chip Day....No cookies necessary, but boy are they welcome to come!! Along with chocolate chip pancakes, chocolate chip muffins, chocolate chip malts and shakes, chocolate chip pizza, chocolate chip ice cream too will be celebrated!!

Sounds like a wonderful evening to celebrate chocolate chips in all their splendar!!!
