hi all,
very quick update...

been syringe feeding Rocket...but....yesterday he ate on his own....

i got up at 3.30 am to give him the pepcid.....gotta space out the meds....so he woke me up at 4.10 am....he wanted his fluids....so i got up and he was happy....i guess he figured if i woke him up at 3.30 that it was ok for him to take me up at 4ish....

he ate a small portion at breffis
BUT he ate a good size portion at +1.5 (just before the Baytril).....

i also gave him some food via syringe just as i was out the door....so tummy is full!

he is still not out of this one just yet....

prayers are much needed....keeping you all in my prayers...healthy and not so healthy kitties....

Hi guys, what a great report, love hearing that rocket is eating some on his own now .. no, not out of the woods yet, but taking forward steps everyday!
 
DH syringe fed Rocket about 2 hrs after i left to go to work....upon my return (6 1/2 hrs later) i discovered he had NOT touched his food at all....the food i left out for him was still there untouched...

i will have to come home at lunch tomorrow and do the taxi thing....get the taxi at lunch and have the taxi driver wait for me while i come inside to feed Rocket then go back to work...no idea if that will work....i'm soooo busy at work too :sad:

this is very hard....and upsetting....

Still sending good vines to him and keeping you in our thoughts.
