Well, its been just about forever since Orange's last condo. I've really been slacking! (and honestly, I've been kind of embaressed to have anyone look at my spreadsheet with all the missed shots and lack of tests).

A lot has been going on over here. If you all remember, a few weeks ago we reduced Orange down to a just drop for a new pet sitter we had watch the kitties while we were away for the weekend. No measuring for the dose, just push the plunger in hard and let go. He did so good on that dose while we were away we've left him there since! Well, my husband has taken this new found freedom now that we found a pet sitter and I think he has gone a little nuts. We've already had her back a bunch of times in the past few weeks. The spreadsheet, however, looks a litlte sparse due to this.

My favorite outing was a surprise last weekend to NYC for our 2 yr wedding anniversary! Sergey is from Brooklyn, and he took me to all his favorite places in Brooklyn I've never been to. On Friday we went to the aquarium (where he used to volunteer as a teenager), Coney Island (where I even convinced him to ride the Wonder Wheel!), dinner in Brighton Beach (and fireworks on the beach!). Then on Saturday it was a trip to Brooklyn Heights and a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge followed by his Grandpa's 80th birthday party. What a weekend!!!

Orange is as wonderful as ever. My fluffy Orange furball sends his love to all the LL kitties out there!

Julie --

Are you going to be around this weekend? I'm wondering if you could keep doing what you're doing dose-wise but get some tests in relation to when you feed Orange. I'd like to see if Orange's numbers come down a couple of hours after you feed. This would mean giving smaller meals throughout the day. It's looking like Orange may be close to a trial but there are still a few numbers after a missed shot that cause an eyebrow to be raised.

What a great report, Julie!! We've missed you and Orange. I'm glad he's doing so well and you and DH have been able to get out and enjoy life and being newlyweds.

Sounds like a blast!!

I agree. It sounds like you've been having a good time, and I'm glad you are. :-D
