Yesterday's ode to how little sleep we all get. But last night Neko gave me a gift, 5 consecutive hours of sleep. Yeah! So nice to have a night away from doing tests by flashlight in the solarium in the wee hours of the night.

Nice overnight slide into blue when I got up for rowing. It's a long weekend in BC, so rowing is cancelled until Wednesday, which means 4 days of sleeping in to AMPS! Now if only the cats will forget that I got up early and gave them snacks the last two mornings. :roll: Neko got her LB work done early this morning when I first got up. Normally she waits until just before breakfast, but today she figured if we were up she might as well get moving too. As per normal, she is back in the solarium. It's cloudy so not as warm but it's still the kitties favourite haunt.

For those reading this condo, a +4.5 is not a recommended next test if you see a 117 at AMPS, unless you've got a cat with cycles like Neko, which no one else here seems to have. I would normally have gotten an earlier test, but fell hard btb this morning, and then I might have seen yellow instead of blue.

I hope Neko keeps surfing and doesn't go higher today. At least you were able to get some good sleep last night.

Hi Liz, Glad Neko is surfing today, and Zener and sleeping in REALLY :lol: Sorry no rowing today but we still have nicer weather on this coast line :lol: Neko be good for mom

Hi Wendy, sounds like you needed that sleep and Neko stayed safe. Hope she keeps surfing blues. Thanks for your vines for Mags.

An all blue cycle is my favorite! And I'm feeling much more rested, ready for Neko's night cycle. :lol:

Completely OT: DH and I just came back from a ~O) ~O) shop. It's in a little mini mall which with a beautiful view of the water. And it's an iconic representation of our part of the world. We saw vehicles with kayaks and stand up paddle boards on top, and then saw movie director Tim Burton going into the liquor store. :o Last week they were shooting part of his new movie Big Eyes at the organic grocery store next door.

@Carla - Neko's definitely got a lovely surf going on, my favorite kind. :-D

@Liz - Blue is our favorite colour too. :-D
@Zener - Thanks for the text, I was originally thinking pink. Glad you let me know where the party is.

@Linda - Blue surf means I can go easy on the pokes. Sun is just starting to break through here and rest of the week is supposed to be nice. Body needs a break from rowing. I hurt. :lol:

@Ann - Just when I seem to be at my worst for lack of sleep, Neko often gives me a sleep pass. cat_pet_icon

@Pam - Paws crossed for more sleep, but she keeps me guessing. She's been known to drop a lot late in a cycle so hard to predict even by +4. :roll:

Yay for sleep! And holidays! (But I'll bet you'll miss going out rowing in the early morning.)

It's going to be too loud and too crowded this weekend in my neighborhood, so I'm all set for saying in.
Wendy, do you know of Northmount Pharmacy in North Van? If they are good?
I got into a fight today with one of the staff at the compounding pharmacy I've been using for Lucy's ursodiol for years, so I'm looking for another pharmacy now.
I don't feel comfortable using them now that he probably hates me and he may be the one making Lucy's meds.
 
15! :shock: is right! Wow. The race was only 3 miles away, and downhill on the way there, so not so bad. How is Theo? I must have missed updates this week.

Wahoo! An all blue (that I saw) cycle. :-D :-D Neko's acting extra hungry tonight. I think it might be one of those nights. :roll:

@Ella - Still blue as requested. Second best colour for an OTJ party. I could go rowing in later morning tomorrow, but with the holidays, the water is probably going to be a zoo. Plus I'm feeling a little pain from yesterday's row. The body could use a break.

@Mariko - Blue for the day, don't think Neko will stay there though. I'm enjoying it while it's there. Ugh on the fireworks, the Saturday ones are the worst. :evil: I've never used Northmount.

@Liz - Theo is better. Pee clumps aren't full size yet, but getting there. Bloodwork and urinalysis were all normal except glucose (207). :lol: 53 at home. Urine is a bit concentrated so I have to add even more water.
