We won't talk about yesterday - well at least a part of yesterday ohmygod_smile ... Mannie finally did find the yellows again last night, and it looks like he continued a slow (YAY!) descent to the blues. Nice job Mannie! :-D 137 @ AMPS. What a pleasant surprise this morning.

Normalcy reigns supreme here this AM. Mannie was cuddly again last night (nice), slept on my feet during the I-) hours (even nicer!), and was ready to go this morning. We have our usual round of head pets and chin scritches, and even a short lap sit and purr. Breffis #1 and #2 eaten, no crumbs left. Interior has been secured (he really does look in all rooms). A brief nap is in progress, and I think I heard him mumbling something about having to find the fog lamps for this mornings outdoor perimeter patrol - as the marine layer, and accompanying fog, is everywhere this morning. Cool at 56.

Hey Mannie, What a great AMPS!! I was pink again this A.M., but I'm moving down into yellow now and maybe we can meet for a blue (green?) surf later. Can you surf in the fog?

Hi Michelle, Yes, it has been a weird summer here, too. Way too warm and humid. Having lived near the ocean for most of my life, I would say that today in the mountains feels like "Hurricane Weather" on the coast. No activities planned for today. We were going to go down to "camp" for a couple of days, but the forecast for the rest of the week is crumby and we also have to get ready for next week's trip to NYC. (DH and I have "dentals"; and next Thursday I'm riding my bike to a Mets game with my bike group.)
I hope your fog clears up soon so that you can have a nice walk or hike.

I'm glad it's nice and cool where you are at....I walked out of the door this morning at 6:45 a.m. and the muggyness just hit me! It certainly is a blessing to have air conditioning at home AND at work.

Hey Ella! No activities planned here either - maybe a short walk this morning, shoreline later. Mountain living sounds really nice - it is something I've always wanted to be able to do. Well guess they are close enough... NYC! YAY!, bummer on the dentals - ugh. not my fav thing, like what will they tell me this time... But I love the bike ride to the mets game - what fun! have a good one - perhaps enjoy the nothing much to do today... :-D

STU! YES!!!!!!!!!!! We can surf - i'm still blue (phew!!!) hey buddy - we can surf in the fog - i have fog lamps. it looks really ridiculous, but i can see everywhere with them. one cannot live in the pnw and not have fog lamps... so see you later! ~~ Mannie

Hi Deb! I feel for all you guys on the east coast and all that weather. I feel guilty with a 56, oh wait it's now 54, and a hint of sunshine through all that fog....

Very nice AMPS Mannie! It was ok when I left to bring Shad to the vet this morning but now it is hot as blazes here.

Hey moonie!!! I am grabbing my board as we speak. Fog surfin' can be cool and all, but sun and ocean is so much better. besides our beaches have rocks and branches and stuff - and they hurt. I hope our dental buddy does ok, and isn't too loopy after his dental. I'd be scared he'd fall off of his board. See you soon! ~~ Mannie

Tess is pink? What is up with that??? That is a Mannie number, certainly not Tess. Whoa, and wonder where that came from - perhaps Mannie left some of his contraband there? I had reports he was into the chocolate bars - again...

Ann - love the surfin' dude! Where did you find that one - you always have the best smilies... I just love the rainbow board. And you have us by one degree - we have risen to 58. ooooooo - heat wave! We may get sun by 3PM is we are lucky - it has been the pattern here for the past few weeks.

Mannie is at 113 @ +6 - YAY! BLUE SURF!! And I sure hope he can stay here for a while... paws crossed.

Tess! Come on down tight now - here i work and work to get blue so I can surf with you with honor and you are in the pink! Blue, well green - is such a better color for you! See you soon! ~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle, nice cool weather for you today. We took a walk around a local pond. It was hot & humid, but the colors on the mountains were lovely. Stopped in at our library's annual book sale. Must go back tomorrow!! Have a good evening and I hope that Mannie keeps up the good work!

Hi Ella - yep cool for most of the day - sun broke through around 2:30 and warmed us up to a nice 73. It turned into a really nice day. Cool on the book sale - I love books, and always have something that i am in the middle of reading.

Hi Michelle, nice PMPS for Mannie! He sure has liked the blue today, huh? I hope he and Stu can surf for all they're worth tonight and stay in great numbers. :-D As far as weather, man oh man, 56 degrees sounds heavenly. I know the fog must be sort of dreary and depressing, though. It was 104 degrees today, with a heat index of 112. At 7:30 p.m., it was still 99 degrees. :shock:
