Yesterday was..... Zener Slide day! Mannie has been practicing very hard, and was more than delighted when he slid all the way in to pmps, posting a very respectable 124. Well done Mannie! Can we have a repeat today? A nice blue cycle maybe? It was great to see a blue cycle in the evening - after only one day in bounce mode. He is off to a great start this morning. WOO HOO! Lubs ya big guy!

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D The best buddies were at it again. :cool: :cool: I love to watch those two together. We had nanner decorating, we had hugs, and nose to nose greetings. Mannie is so funny when he does this. Nicholas is so close, and Mannie gets all squinty eyed, raises his head just a little, and purrs... way to cute. Nicholas decided to follow that up with another attempt at pick up - :lol: :lol: :lol: He spent 5 minutes (true!) trying to figure out how to do it. The arms were in position, an inch from fur contact, but he never tried. Needs further study was the look on his face.... ;-) ;-) Once again Mannie decided to visit Nicholas for breffis. He just watched, Nicholas kept trying to feed him blueberries.... One of these days Mannie will gobble them up.... oh sure.... This morning we had a great test, feed, shoot and clean plate club (YAY), AND the auto feeder was USED by Mannie, (YAY, and back at it!) :shock: Elsa still thinks it has her name on it (yes still)... so I am back to running interception on the feeder.... Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty through Friday. We will go to the pool today, and then off to wherever the weather looks good: no doubt a creek or a river... WOO HOO: fun times! I will try to get to condos when I can - it is just too difficult when he is here. I will be thinking of you all, and your furkids. Think blue, think green kitties!

I was thinking.... i know..scary, huh..... but anyways - maybe we could use Auntie EllaBeans kitchen and bake cookies and stuff for everybody. Nice blue start for Mannie today! What a great slide day for the big guy yesterday. How sweet on the two best buds. Nicholas will be picking him up before you or Mannie know it! :lol: What a good boy Mannie is to be so patient. If only he was that patient with you huh?

Morning Melissa - I thought so too: a great slide day, and then to have a blue surf through the night. YAY!! :-D And I think so too on Nicholas picking Mannie up soon. It will be fun to watch that one, and see if Mannie can maintain his cool. :lol: and yes on the patience with me... LOL! ;-) Hey - thanks on the pics: loved yesterday, it was so fun. We hope for more today. I am sure it will be. SWIM time! WOO HOO! :-D :cool:

I can't wait til the day comes with the pick up Mannie day with DS. You'll need to get the camera ready! Have a wonderful day you two and look forward to the pics. Mannie, sounds like a blast with the cookie baking. I have a recipe for catnip pumpkin cookies, so I'll bring my mix. And niptunis, too. See ya at same place at the curb

Hi Ann - It was a good slide - I sure liked it, wish he'd do it more often! :-D Today is off to a good start too. And yupp. I did get my permission slip, so we went swimming, with the promise that we'd stop on in and check on him after swimming before heading back out. And me too on the pick up the kitty thing - it is coming! Ought to be interesting, as Mannie is no featherweight. :lol: :lol: And I will - the camera for sure. If I miss that one I will never forgive myself... :shock: :roll: :? :? It has been a great day so far. Mannie is good, so we are off to the creek and the beach. WOO HOO!

Maggie - you are on! I hope we make it in time... I hear Rusty is headed back to his house and his basket, so we'd best hurry. Seriously on the catnip pumpkin cookies??????????? YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! Hi Libby - that it is! Those two get along so well, it really is very cool! Yupp, I am very grateful for these days with Nicholas. He seems to have such fun. LOVE IT! We went swimming this morning, and are now off to the beach for some creek wading and surf and sand time. YAY! I hope Hershey is doing well - I so need to visit your condo!

Nicholas and I had another great day today. We went swimming in the morning. It never ceases to amaze me how much this kid loves the water. We went to a local beach after swimming today so he could play in the surf, and the creek. WHAT FUN! Up and own that creek: stomping in the water, conflicting and tossing rock after rock. :cool: :cool: It has been a crazy busy day but an ever so fun one! I willpost some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Barb - wasn't this the best? I love blue surf like this - low enough, safe enough, and one can still do things, and he feels great. You were exactly right in what you wrote. what a great day for everyone! :-D :-D

Hi Ann - Thanks - what a great BLUE day - woo hoo! love it! Beach was really nice! They have a creek that feeds into the sound there and it is one of Nicholas's fav spots. It is very shallow, and he can play in it safely. Very fun stuff!

Hi Carla - thanks - it si nice to see this, as it doesn't always happen with him. When I can get 3 back to back blue cycles I am elated! I sure hope he can continue with cycles like this.

Hi Marje - it has been a great day for him. Could be on the green tonight. The +2 will be very telling. paws crossed! even if it is just a dip in to the lagoon. and a big YES on DGS trying to pick up Mannie. I swear I will get video! I just have to remember to have the camera handy when DGS first gets here, as that is usually when he tries. :-D

What a GORGEOUS day for Mannie!!! Your pics of DGS are always so cute...I agree, I can't believe what a natural he is in the water!! The kids his age at hte pool I belong to just about scream bloody murder if their beans try and take them in past their ankles!!

Hi Amy - Thanks - I think it is a good day for Mannie too. All blue, and woo hoo! I think so too on Nicholas and the water. I see alot of kids his age that struggle with it, just as you said. Today he was "jumping" in off the edge of the pool, from a seated position. - over and over again. I kept hearing parents in the background: will you look at that kid... :cool:

Mannie - did you see me wave? My beans took the 405 so we were a bit further away. I was riding shotgun to make sure they went the right way.
