WOOHOO! We sees GREEN! He's being really picky about food - I stopped after the 4th thing I offered. He'll eat SOMETHING from that pile. He's feeling so good now - I can see it in his eyes. Last night all 4 big boys started chasing each other from one end of the house to the other. Leo was the 'runner' - he'd scoot his butt down low then....OFF HE GOES! The other 3 were waiting in strategic places to jump out and 'tag' him as he ran by. Sometimes they'd jump out and run beside him then go 'hide' again. This lasted a good half hour if not longer.

Sweet Doc is bouncing like a HUGE rubber ball today! He started diving last night so got up and tested....down to 112 but Mr. Liver joined sometime after that.
Sorry I've been MIA lately - it's canning/freezing time. I was given a WHOLE HUGE tree of beautiful white peaches - the kind that you pay BIG money for at the store and the whole TREE is mine! About now I'm pretty sick of peaches but I've got about 30 quarts in the freezer to make jam when it's all done. I also was given 2 bushels of tomatos - hot house grown but they're still tomatos! I put up 5 quarts of them, still have about 5 more to finish. Since I have to make all my own sauce bases for DH's wierd rebel gene, it sure is nice them rather than having to buy canned ones.
I have a quite ugly huge bruise on my ankle and have had it wrapped since Monday. I hit the side of my ankle just right and crushed a blood vessel. It's still swollen but at least now I can walk without it hurting. I've had a 'job' now for the last month - watering for my elderly neighbor making a whole whopping $20/week. I figured out my hourly 'wage'....about $1.50/hour.. :roll: ...but if I don't do it, she'll do it and fall and I'll feel guilty....I'm home all the time so walking down and changing location of sprinklers isn't a big deal. It only takes about 15 minutes per hour. It's done WONDERS for my muscles! I needed the physical exercise.
