Hi everyone,

I don't know if Barbara will post on this as Woo Ton wasn't an FD and LL kitty, but since she is a vital member of our community I wanted to at least let everyone here know. This morning Woo Ton lost his battle with IBD. She is devastated. Perhaps we all can remember Barbara tonight, light a candle for Woo Ton so that he may land safely at the bridge. Fly free little one. May all our candles light your way. wings_cat

I am so, so sorry. I know how hard losing a companion can be. My thoughts are with you. My George and Gracie will be there to keep your Woo Ton safe and entertained until you are reunited.

Fly free little one and land softly.

Oh, Barbara, I'm so sorry you've lost Ton. You had sent me a picture of him, he was so handsome. Fly free, sweet boy.

Thank you for your kind thoughts. I'm not sure if prolonging his life hoping he would recover was the best choice or I did not want to lose him. We tried everything and his IBD became progressively worse. He could be difficult but endured all the treatment prescribed with courage. He even reached the point where when I said, Ton, you need a bath he would run to the bathroom.

Ton was a very special little guy. He was a rescue as all of my furbabies are. He had been so abused he was not a candidate for adoption. It took 2 years to be able to pet him he was so terrified of people. He had been beaten with a broom and really had not know much kindness or love. The greatest gift he gave me was the day he climed into my lap. I knew then that he knew he was safe and loved. Bengals are very vocal and that he was. He had the biggest meow and did not hesitate to tell me what he thought or what he wanted. He could jump so high and loved to walk along the top of the traverse rods.
The love he gave me will manifeste itself in years of pain I will suffer with his loss and memories of the others that have crossed the bridge.

I'm am thankful that I made 13 years of his life happy and loving. He is missed by all the kitties. It is very quiet in my home. In time, the pain will pass but I don't think it ever goes away.

Again, thank you our FDMB family. Ton was not a FD kitty but part of the extended family here.

wings_cat Fly free special boy, you are missed, land softly.
