8/3 Angel -- 185 (she's back to 94)

:shock: this may be the shortest OTJ ever.
I just tested her and got 184 - then retested and got a 185.
I don't know what's up.


She' hasn't had a shot since 7/18 - her official OTJ date was 8/1 -- everything has been fine.
She seems okay - but I'm considering giving her a shot.

Any advice? Is this the wonkiness that might happen?
Just for the record - I don't like it.

I don't think she could have gotten into anything. She's been in my room - mostly sleeping, all day.
She ate her normal Turkey Wellness - nothing has changed.
I'm looking around to see if there's an undiscovered food source. :\

Donovan crept up to mid-blues in the weeks following OTJ, but thankfully he always came back down. But he was never one to hang out in the greens anyway. He's always high green/low blue.
Hopefully it's just a random blip...

I guess I'll just test her again in a few hours and see where she is.

And If she ends up needing a shot here and there - it's not the end of the world, right?

hi Michelle!

was that her ambg number?
maybe retest in a few hours since that number.
had she eaten anywhere near that time of the 185?

hopefully it's nothing, let's see what others can add
it's gonna be ok!

Gosh Michelle, I seem to remember someting about, in this situation, feeding and then checking in a few hours to see if she brings herself down.

I'm foggy on that though - but it wouldn't hurt...

Hopefully someoone in the know on this will chime in.

That was just a random "I wonder how she's doing" test, Ronnie.
She snacks all day... ( I free feed her) so I'm not really sure if she'd just eaten or not. But even if she had, I've never seen her spike like that.

Maybe she found some crumbs from Brielle's snacks -- she did seem pretty content sitting under the bar earlier... :roll:

Sandy, I think you're right - I stirred her food and encouraged her to eat a few bites.
I'll re-test her later and see where she is.

I'm not freaking or anything - I just totally wasn't expecting that.

My thought was exactly the same -- did she hoover up any contraband? And, feed some LC and test 3 - 4 hours later.

hehehe -- she IS a little hoover....

I don't know... I haven't found any evidence - but it's possible that she found something and scarfed it down.
I'll post her number this evening and then decide what to do.


Thanks for eating the ice cream and freaking for me Ronnie! I don't need either of them! You're a good friend! :lol:

i found punkin with his face in a muffin paper the other day.

i was wondering if angel found your stash of Snickers Bars - you know, the stash behind your bed to the left of the stack of books next to the 12 pack of dr pepper? :-D

hang in there, Michelle.

I would do what Sienne suggested - test, feed a small meal, and test in 3-4 hours to see if she brings herself down. Don't worry yet.

Well she must have indeed found my stash of snickers. :lol: at Julie!
I just tested her and she was 94.

Duuuude.... what on earth?!?

I guess I need to keep a better eye on her -- thanks you guys!
