Happy Caturday!

WCR: Most Ps in place. Shasta was feeling good last night. We snuggled on the couch and I got snuggles at bed time. She ate well last night, but not so much today. In fact, it seems like she's back to not feeling well. We've had lots of rain lately and looks like we'll be getting more over the next few days thanks to what's left of Tropical Storm Erika. Tonight, I gave her Ondansetron (1/3 tab) and a crumb of cypro and now I'm hoping/ waiting for her appy to pick up. We have been snuggling on the couch, watching "Big Bang Theory" while the storms rumble around us. I'm really off on my days for giving her fluids. I should have given her fluids last night and I forgot...same thing today/tonight. SO...she'll get her squids tomorrow. Hope everyone has enjoyed their Caturday. Good night.

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Skipping the fluids might have contributed to making her feel worse. Not trying to make you feel guilty, just wanted to mention it as a possible explanation. It's amazing how much the fluids help them. Try to set up some kind of reminder so you can get back on a regular schedule with them, and I'll bet Shasta will perk up. I hope the Ondansetron helped - it's a great tool, as is the Cypro.

Meanwhile, sending appy and tummy vines.

I hope Shasta is feeling better today! Maybe writing out a schedule on a calendar and hanging it on the fridge will help with remember when she's due for fluids. For Trix, we have a rigid routine - dinner, then fluids, then meds....by doing it the same way every time, it's very ingrained in our brains and we find that this helps us keep everything organized and in order.
