Good Morning, Everyone,

The hurricane caused major flooding and damage up here. Many main roads are closed owing to flooding and erosion. It is doubtful that my friend will be able to get back to the city today. We can't even find out whether or not the bus is running!! IN the meantime, however, she got in touch with one of her friends, who is going to go over to check on her cat. There is much more damage up here than in NYC!!

Rusty had a good night and woke us up before dawn with head butts and kisses. I think he might have been active last night, because he's sleeping this morning. He got the fat 1 unit dose and his number this morning is much better than it has been recently. He had a good test, hopefully a good shot, and his breakfast in 2 sittings. The sun is out. We have electricity.

We were going to go down to camp tomorrow, but that might have to be cancelled if our friend can't get home. I'll know more later. We hope that everyone in LL is OK.

Morning Ella - I am sorry that the hurricane wrecked such havoc for all of you. I hope that things settle down soon, though I imagine that the issues at hand will take a little time to repair. Good luck to your friend. I hope that soon she will be able to return home. I am sure that she is anxious. It is so great that she was able to find someone to go and check on her kitty. She must be really worried.

Good luck with the new dose for Rusty - it is nice to see a more normal Rusty amps. Looking for those greens Rusty!

sorry to hear the hurricane caused so much damage. Glad everyone is okay though and I hope your friend manages to get home.

Rusty seems to be good, not effected by the scary weather.

Getting back to normal there Rusty.I hope he see greens soon, I hope it was stress. Animals can sense storms.

Wow. you don't really think of hurricane effects so far inland. What an incredible amount of rain. So glad you friend got someone to check on her cat. That has got to take a load off her mind. I hope she can get home soon.

Now that is a much nicer AMPS for Rusty....i think the "fat" agrees with him ;-)

Sorry to hear about all the damage from the hurricane....yikes! Hope everyone is Ok and things get back to normal quickly. Glad your friend has someone that can go check on her kitty.

Well, Rusty is headed back up when he usually heads down! It could have been a fur shot, but I doubt it. Don't know what's happening here!!
There are no busses from Albany to New York. My friend could get to Albany, but only because there were prisoners on the bus who had to be transported! It couldn't go it's normal route because of all the road closures. So she decided to stay and see what happens tomorrow. (there is only 1 bus a day). But her friend was able to check on her kitty and all is well.

Back later. I'm going to take Edward to the chiropractor in Lake Placid and then all 3 of us are going to walk around Mirror Lake in Lake Placid.

Wow....sounds like y'all are having a time of it!!! At least your friend doesn't have to worry about her cat!!! Have a great time in Lake Placid!!!

Oh come on Rusty....what are you and Gracie doing going up instead of down midcycle??? I hope it kicks in tonight for you, Ella.

Well....the way I would look at it if I were your friend is that there are much worse places to be than your lovely home and village!! I know she is worried about her kitty, tho.

Hi guys .. so glad to hear that you were safe during the storm .. sorry to hear about the roads being closed and your friend not being able to get back for her kitty .. but thank goodness none of you were hurt .. Tomorrow is another day!

Hi Ella, so sorry to hear about all the road clossures and hurricane damage. Great your friend found someone to check her kitty, but I know she's worried. Hoping tomorrow will be better for her to travel home. I think Rusty and Maggie are conniving today with their new doses. Maggie's a bit higher today, too. I didn't feel I did a good shot this morning but did get some juice in her. Enjoy your walk today and good luck to Edward with the chiropractor.

Hi guys! Sorry for all the road closures, etc. I hope you had a good trip to lake Placid, and enjoyed the walk around the lake. I imagine that is was beautiful. I am sorry that your friend has to wait to go home - wow on the bus with all the prisoners. :shock: I think I'd wait too. Good news though that her kitty is OK.

Sorry not to visit condos today. It's been such a weird day and evening. Rusty's PMPS was high, after rising all day, so I think it must have been a fur shot this morning. But he came down dramatically at +4.5. I hope he will settle down after our friend leaves (hopefully she'll be able to get a bus tomorrow). We've decided not to go to camp for the rest of the week. We need time to decompress!! Will go after Labor Day.
Everyone have a good evening. We hope all is well in LL and that all evacuees have been able to return home after the hurricane.

OMG My friends Soooo Sorry that you felt the effects of this really terrible storm!!
True you dont think of those inland feeling the effects of a hurricane..SOOOOO Sorry you are having difficulties! Hope it all turns around and you see a brand new day tomorrow!
Hoping your friend can get back home tomorrow...Thanks for worrying about us- Now we can worry about you and Edward & Rusty Man!! Hugs & Luv From Us!!!
