Hi all! Interesting day yesterday for Mannie. My DS and I went hiking yesterday. Mannie was such a good boy, giving us our permission slip to be gone. I was pleased to come home to a 205, not the best number, but a doable one. His +11 was a :o and no doubt his payback :evil: for leaving him home all day. :twisted: :lol: I can just see the thought process: "take that human! a 343! and now that I have your attention :shock: and scolded your sufficiently :cool: I shall return to the land of normal for Mannie :razz: and give you a 144 at NI NI time ;-) . " So went yesterday. :lol: :lol: I can't wait to see what he throws at me today. Mannie your bean is ready, and I promise I will not leave you home alone today... LUBS ya bunches big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. OMG - these civvies are nuts. Today's whack-a-thon: BJ and Elsa are sitting on the kitchen floor, waiting for fuds while I test Mannie. Bj looks sideways at Elsa and with lightening fast speed whacks Elsa. Elsa sits there, takes it all with that look of "you've got to be kidding". She in turn waits a few, looks at BJ sideways, and with equally fast lightening speed whacks BJ a few. BJ sits there, takes it in stride, and after a few looks at Elsa with that "that was so uncool" look and returns the whacks. This went on throughout the test process, Mannie's cuddle process after test. All the while he's looking a them with that "I so do not know you" look. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: We had a good test feed and shoot, despite the whack-sthon. Fuds were devoured with gusto, clean plate club status maintained. AND... wait for it.... wait for it.... Mannie used the auto feeder!!!! :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: Just when I was about to go and remind him, I heard the sound it makes, and found him with his face planted in the feeder compartment. WAY TO GO MANNIE! :razz: :cool: :cool: Just when I was about to toss the thing.... figures huh. Napping is now in progress. Perfect morning for some kitty napping: marine layer in place, soft breezes coming in off of the sound, perfect for catching some ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz's. and so they are. Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! Today's project: applying the wood sealer to the deck. After all that work on Saturday to pressure wash it, etc... I need to finish the job and get the sealer on it, before it rains again. Oh FUN!

MY FRIENDS!!! Hey - what's up? Brrrrrr...... it is cold here this morning....... what happened to the sun? my bean says marine layer.... whatever that is. I dunno. You guys wanna get together today? We needs to work on S'mores OTJ party. I think it was supposed to be today... but well..... that silly hurricane delayed lots of stuff. so we gots extra time to be ready. SWEET! You guys wanna come here? or? we could just hang out and stuff.... or you wanna go and play? Maybe some sailing or hang-gliding or hiking or sand castle building at the beach, or??? i dunno.... Hi guys,
Interesting morning in MannieLand! Elsa and BJ are too much! They probably have lived together so long that they just think they can be crabby to one another. Mannie, we're proud of you for using the automat!!! YEA!! And nice AMPS. You and Rusty are pretty close in AMPS this morning.

Enjoy(?) putting sealant on the deck, Michelle. We used to have to do that when we had a roofdeck in our Brooklyn co-op. It's a job, especially the railings.

LOL on the whack-a-thon! I can picture it....so funny!!! NICE AMPS for the nanner king this morning....maybe swimming in the green lagoon later?? ICK on the deck sealing....I used to help my parents seal their deck in Ohio....my job? The railing and spindles......there were like a million of them and of course, you have to get all 4 sides! What a job....sure looks good when its done...but yikes, a lot of work. ;-) I am so happy he used the auto feeder.....it can be a life-saver....Zoe loves hers.

Hey Mannie.....I'm up for anything.....bummer on the hurricane slowing up S'mores party, but what ya gonna do?!! Hey I heard you ate from the thingy that makes a noise and surprise....there is food there! I love mine....never know what the bean is gonna give me. I always check out what is there.....and eat just a little, I'm afraid if I don't eat from it she will quit surprising me with good fuds in it. Hi Sherry - yeah this AM's whack-a-thon was one for the books. I was laughing , Mannie was "whatever!"... what a hoot. And I hear you on the sealant on the railings.... I dread that part, though the deck part is so easy... I will have to do the ick part first.... me too on the auto feeder - and then he ignores the next two. sheshhhh!

Way to go Mannie on the autofeeder! That is a very big accomplishment and you make your bean very proud. We won't discuss what you did to her yesterday for leaving you.

So funny on the whack a thon. They are just all so precious, and fiesty. It's so much like human kids fighting.

The first thing I do, of course, when coming into Mannie's condo is read the recap from the previous day. I did a serious "YIKES" when I saw that +11!!! Glad to see he's thought better of the whole yucky number thing!!!

How funny that Mannie is so above the whack-a-thon unless, of course, he starts the war himself!! Maybe they fight like girls and he found it all rather amusing! :lol:

Don't work too hard on the deck!!!

Hi Patty - Oh I know on that =11. darn it - and it looks like he is doing the same thing today. I just do not get why he does this... happened a while back to where we spent three days with elevated late am cycle numbers. Drives me bonkers! ah it could be on the whack-a-thon.... his role has shifter to that of an observer... for now. and affirmative on the deck... for sure!

The funny thing is there have been times when I catch him in the kitchen, just checking out the bowls, then off to see where I am, then he sits and waits by the kitchen door. "is it time yet?" noooooooooooooooooooooo Mannie, not yet.... :lol: :lol: :lol: -- and very clever on teh dessert - how could we not have those for this party?

Michelle, looks like Mannie is just surfing along this evening. I was late reading your condo and had to smile when I read about all the "whacking" going on in your home. Lots of excitement in your household. I hope you had fun with the sealer on your deck. What a project. I have about 6 different things going on in my home at the same time and nothing seems to ever get totally completed. Hope y'all have a great evening.

Hi Georgia - yep, I agree. Sure looks like we have some blue surfin' going on here. :-D and I know - never a dull moment here in the morning. They are such a delight! well.... yeah on the deck..... :roll: :roll: one of those things that HAD to be done.... blech! but project finished, more or less. I powered through it, probably could have done a better job, but hey - it'll get us through another soggy wet PNW fall and winter. I know what you mean about several projects going on at the same time... we were/are the same way.... finally have most of them finished. :shock: :cool:

Hi Christie - thanks - it has been a decent day for Mannie - he salvaged yet another one. still looking for some greens, it's been a few days. He was close the other night - 101, 102. so close!!! mornings here are like a three ring circus - funny cuz the rest of the day was without such shenanigans. Maybe they do it just to get my juices flowing and wake me up! oh please let it be so with the auto feeder.... please.

Mannie boy!! I was taken in my cat cage to a weird big place that wasnt my house!! Weird smells, hardly any hiding places,my bed & my condo was there, but it wasnt my house!! I went back to my house in that fast thingy & saw big green things & beans & lots of air & smells!--I are home now & REAL happy! Lubs & Hugs from Moonie! nailbite_smile :lol: :mrgreen:
