Yesterday's Condo
Willie ended up in the 40s last night by +3, but I fed 18% a couple times to prevent the bounce we saw when he went down to 30 earlier this week. It appears to have worked. I did dosecrease him last night with that PS of 54. He was in the 90s this morning and headed upward at +4, so I was glad to see him back down near green tonight. He's spent the day cicada hunting (I've got a video I'll upload later of him playing with his catch!)... they have learned to play dead so he gets bored, and then I throw them out the front door and they fly away. :lol: :lol: :lol: The rest of the day was spent spinning a tale of woe as to his levels of starvation. :roll: :roll: :roll: This, despite a full bowl of food.
He's now back hunting in the backyard. May try to get a video of that as well!
Starting to wonder if I'm in a bit over my head with the 3/4 bushel of peaches I got this weekend. They aren't quite ripe, so letting them sit while I plan. Thinking maybe a batch of peach preserves, another batch of peach ginger, some peach cakes/pies/etc. and then freeze the rest for use this winter when good fruit is hard to come by. May try to get tomatoes next weekend and make sauce. Promised Mr. DMV I'd cook him dinner this week. Gotta get on figuring out what to make!
