Hello all, I am not sure, but I think he's getting a little bit out. I have no money to take him to the vet. I am giving him olive oil, to help him out. He doesn't like it! Didn't like butter, either. But eats it if I put treats on top. I am going by store to try pumpkin or squash as suggested. I am practically penniless until next Friday. I have one test strip left. Things will be better once checks from new job start rolling in.

Are you adding extra water to his food? Both my kitties really like the babyfood squash that I add to their meals. Sending extra poop vines for Tyler. At least his BG is looking great.

I have failed to mention all this time, I do indeed add about 1/2 tspns to every meal fed to them

Of water? This is a great site on feline constipation. (Yes, there is a website for everything!) I think the squash is more of a preventative or helpful early on. Once things get stopped, he may need a laxative or an enema. Yeah, it's gross! Read the link, certain types of laxatives and enemas should not be given to cats.

When Cinco was constipated, I added about 1 tsp of canola oil to his food. Only took a couple of servings to get things moving. Ever since, I've been adding the baby food squash, and he's been doing much better.

I have been using olive oil, but it seems for three kitties, the litter box isn't getting that much action. It's frustrating when one cat has those kinds of issues when there are multiple kitties in the house.

We only have one box, but it gets scooped three times daily, and is huge. It's about 3.5' x 2'

Gotta get to work now
