Happy appy, feisty-but-not-too-feisty, spunky, bright-eyed, and mega-anti-jinxes. And her appy is back at the high-end of the happy scale, right where I like it to be...anti-jinx!!
It looks like yesterday's condo popped back up to the top....fortunately the horrific gelcap experience is now about 38-ish hours in the past, and so far - knock on major wood - the situation has not returned. Last night's gelcap had the potential for trouble, but I still managed to get it down in the first packing. This morning's was a hole-in-one. Go figure. I won't say we're out of the woods just yet, though....we all know a kitty can change his or her mind in a split second.
I do think me being at the bead show last weekend really threw her off. I was gone for 12 hours a day, 3 days in a row...I'm never gone that much, and it affected our routine. She definitely doesn't like change in routine. The last time I really had issues with appy and gelcaps were last spring, when I was at the same bead show. Unfortunately bead shows are just part of what I do, and I have to continue with doing them even after the store is closed. I'll just have to try to come up with a way to make it feel more like Trix's normal routine for those weekends. DH was around, but he's not quite as persistent as I am when it comes to things like following her around with the plate. I'll have to train him for the rare times that I'm not around as much! She finally seems to be trusting that I'm not disappearing for lengthy times again.
I'm off today...putting the second coat of paint on my future studio walls! There is still a LOT of work to do in the space, but wall color does have a bit "things are moving forward" impact. Have a great day, L&LL!
