Good Morning, Everyone,

Yep, we had a fur shot last night. Hopefully Rusty comes down nicely today. My friend leaves for NYC on the bus later this morning, the electricians are here, situating the generator and digging the trench for the electrical line and doing all the other stuff. Then, on Friday, the power company will switch off the electricity so that the transfer switch can be installed. Then we have to wait until Sept. 19th for the propane tanks to arrive and be hooked up.

Another busy day shaping up! Rusty is fine with the exception of his bgs. He had a good night. This morning the whole routine went well. He's waiting for his house to settle back to "normal".

I'll be back later. Thanks for visiting us while we were busy with our friend's visit.

OUCH! Rusty - is that really you? Bummer on the fur shot, but I expect he will come down nicely throughout the say, Just not too fast Rusty, 'K? It's great to read all is well with Rusty. I can so see him wanting his home to be back to normal. :-D

Enjoy the remaining time with your friend. It sounds like it as a great time for all. :cool:

Sounds busy there! But a good busy. Lots of cool plans there. Good luck with it all. I will hope that your power won't be off too long on FR. I would expect not. Hope that goes well too.

Hi Ella. Bummer on the fur shot but it happens.

It sounds like your renovations are coming to a close. The generator Will give you and Edward peace of mind this winter.

Hi guys .. well sorry to hear about the furshot .. I'm sure rusty will work his way back down today, so long as he isn't disturbed by the workers .. we should have signs that say "shhhh, diabetic kitty needs silence" haha .. have a great day guys!

Rusty, dude! Is you tryin to get up high and away from the workerbeans? I don't blame you, they bug me too. They'll be gone pronto and you can come back down. We'll toss you a rope and you can sliiiidddde back down. ok? Then, maybe Auntie Ella will let us make cookies and eat 'em while we chillax on your porch. ollie

I'm glad you had a good visit with your friend! Your party sound like it was great fun. I hope all your generator work goes smoothly and Rusty's house gets back to normal.

Hey Rusty - You gotta hide me from those wacky, wacky little 'uns! I don't know what they have planned for today, but they are gonna try and do something bad to me and I gotta stay far far away from that Lola and Bug!

I think hanging on your porch may be safe place - no? yes?

Hi guys,
Rusty hung out on the porch all day and was happy to have many of his pals join him and help eat the cimmamum cookies left over from the beans' party. The electricians worked all day. We also had a friend stop in for a visit this afternoon. So not much got done by the beans today. Tired tonight from non-stop entertaining!!

Rusty is coming down nicely from yesterday's fur shot. He's had a couple of combings and some outdoor time in the late afternoon.

I'm glad Rusty is recovering from the furshot really nicely!
