Hurricane Irene Morning. Stay safe everyone!
Rusty is keeping up there with the hurricane!! This morning I fattened his dose to a fat 1 unit. I don't want him wallowing in these higher numbers. I didn't smell insulin and I hope the shot went in. Rusty had a good breakfast with 1/4 tsp. of L-lysine added to his Wellness Turkey. We had a good brushing and he is now lounging on the coffee table, watching the hurricane in NYC on TV.
This morning NYC will be in the eye of the storm and there is bad flooding there. The arrival of the storm coincides with high tide. Here it started to rain about 2 hours ago and is now raining hard, but not much wind yet. I doubt that we'll even go outside today. I hope that my friend will be able to get home to NYC tomorrow. She is really worried about her apartment and her kitty.
We are thinking about all of you who are in the path of the storm and hoping that all will be OK. Continuing to send healing vines to all kitties in need.
We send our deep sympathy to Susan and Kevin, who lost their Tiberious yesterday. He's flying free now, is at the Bridge, and being welcomed by all of our GAs.
