Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night and a good morning routine. I tried once again to get him to eat his lung treat, but no luck. I'm going to take Ann's advice and get chicken babyfood the next time to mix with the Allerplex. We had a nice combing, a brief play with the bell balls, and now he is napping in his basket.

We have a cricket in the house. I've been trying to rescue him and set him outdoors, but so far no luck. Crickets are good luck, but I don't want him to die from lack of food.

This morning I'm off to do a short bike ride with friends. Edward and Rusty will hold the fort. Then this afternoon I have to start getting ready for our weekend houseguest in earnest. We want to paddle, but the forecast is for pretty bad weather on Sat. and Sun. I hope the weatherman is wrong!

Nice start for Rusty! Good luck with the babyfood. I hope it changes Rusty's mind about his lung treat. Oh those crickets.

Yo Rusty! I checked out the Lagoon last night. All is wel and the mermaids say "Hi!" -- Tess

Enjoy the good weather while you have it, I hope the weatheran is wrong. Tess loves the ham baby food! Of course she has always tried to steal pork chops! :roll:

Eat your lung, treat, Rusty....I hear it is really, really yummy!!! We get crickets in the store all the time...I love the sound of them and the luck they bring, but like you, I try to get them back outside where there is food. Despite all the noise they make, sometimes they are hard to find!

I hope the different flavor baby food helps Rusty eat his lung treat. Hopefully the weather won't be as bad as they're predicting for the weekend.

Hi again,

Rusty had a lot of outdoor time today, had good combings by his Papabean, had good appetite, was on duty in the lagoon, and is now waiting on the couch for his beans to watch TV with him.

My bike ride was great. It was on a major highway with a wide shoulder, so I took my fast, light road bike. I was flying! The weather was COLD and blustery. I don't think the temperature got out of the upper 50s.

The cricket is still here. Tonight I put a field green clipping in a dish, along with 2 blueberries. I hope he eats something and doesn't die. I would really love it if I could get him outside to be with his friends.
