Yesterday was a good day!

Rats, rats, rats. Papaya had a lovely AMPS  but turned into a squirmy worm when I was shooting insulin. She swore at me and writhed away just as I pushed down the plunger and I definitely smelled Lantus, so I don't know how much or if any actually went in. I hate to waste such a good start  and I hope she won't feel too bad today. Well . . . counting down the hours to the PM shot I guess.

I hope everyone else's day gets off to a smoother start!

Oh no, sorry to hear this. Papaya, quit being so squirmy and behave for your mama!

Oh argh. Please remind her to chant her mantra while you do the necessary.

Dang on the fur shot. It's funny because before Hoot went OTJ he squirmed with the shots and now he doesn't even move :-D :-D Of course I do distract him with his fuds ;-) But it works :-D Come on back down Papaya, you can do it!!
Enjoy your day Amy!

Ooh, a frustrating fur shot. I'm sorry, hope Papaya doesn't go too high, & can get back on track at the PM shot. Was a great start, though!

Hello there Devon, Melissa, Lara, Pam, Jamie and Suzanne! She didn't do as badly today as I feared, just a red PMPS which actually was the same as yesterday . . . so it shouldn't have too big of an impact. I sure got a good grip on her for the PM shot, though

Hi Amy,
Sorry about the furshot, but I couldn't help laughing when I imagined Papaya turning into a squirmy worm.
I think she was feeling pretty good.
They complain more about little things when they are feeling better, don't they?
Also it was very funny to picture you gripping onto Papaya tightly for the PM shot.
Thank you for the good laugh.
