Morning ~O) ~O) yes always need a lot and love it! Most of the P's are in place today except for the infamous Poo. This AMPS isn't too bad considering she's had a fair amount of Greek yogurt. It looks like so far Maggie willl keep her 11 am visit with Vetty to have an enema. I had a feeling this eventually would need to take place. I lost track of how much Miralax I gave her yesterday, but it was a lot. She did great taking it mixed in with the Greek yogurt. She ate it as if it were ice cream. Wish us luck today.

Ok i think we need to send over some of Leo's pooping vines to Maggie, he has more than enough to go around.

Good luck with the new dose - I hope it will get things moving for Maggie. Quite the drop for her +3. Good job Maggie, now surf well for your bean.

Sending prezzie vines for Maggie.... and I so hear you on the need of a second pair of hands... That would be me and Mannie. Pilling him or syringing him - anything in the mouth is not easy...

Looks like Maggie has some excitement in store for you, hope that includes prezzies! The yogurt may help there, we give 1/8 tsp of plain greek for Jasper's test treat and he would eat lots more if we let him. Sometimes we also give him about 1/2 tsp per day of canned 100% pumpkin (not pie filling) for hairballs, more than that has a laxative effect on him. If Maggie will eat pumpkin, it might help her get on with things. Have a great day!

Yay on the +3! Way to go Mags! I bet the yogurt was worth it as far as she is concerned.

Now you need to give your mama bean some prezzies Maggie. Poo vines coming your way!

Tracy & leo, I had to laugh at three poops in one day for Leo! Maggie would love some poo vines from Leo. She says it would be an honor. :lol: :lol:

Thanks Melissa, thanks on the prezzie vines. I think it is Wed/Thurs they are coming. I would love to take a tour with them, but it would fall within the time of shot time for Mags. Usually they start late morning and last the day. They are fun for visitors as they take them every sight seeing spot, Sea World, Seaport Village, touristy places.

Hi Leslie, thanks on the tip of pumpkin. Since she likes the yogurt so much, I think I will continue and while I'm at it, add little Miralax. She licks it off the spoon.

Michelle, just saw your post. Looks like both Mannie and Maggie are liking the dose. :mrgreen:

Up a little which is okay! I just gave Maggie about 3/4 tsp plain Greek yogurt, and I mixed in Miralax, and clean spoon! It might spike a little but not bad. The alternative of getting in the Miralax outweighs the lower numbers.

Hi Ann. I agree with the Miralax and yogurt producing a bm, being worth the small spike in numbers. That is artificial and will come down quickly enough.
Wowee, on the greenand the blues are darn nice too. :-D

Back up again, but still blue! She did have maybe close two spoons of plain Greek yogurt, the last one mixed with Miralax.

Thanks Barb & Checkers, yeah what's I thought also about the yogurt and spike being okay if the end result is a prezzie! If no bm today, she may need some Vetty help.

Hi, Ann, So happy to see Maggie getting Greens and Blues!

I found some yogurt called YoBaby. Stonyfield Farms makes it. It is hard to find it in plain, unflavored, with no added sugar, but it does exist. Here are a number of stores that are supposed to have YoBaby: http://www.stonyfield.com/products/store-locator You'll have to call to see if they have the "Simply Plain" version.

Thanks Dale, I have seen the YoBaby yogurt at Sprouts market where I shop quite often. I'll check it out; I bought it once for myself, but I had the blueberry. The one I bought yesterday is "Chobani" . The small container is 6 oz and has 7 grams sugar. Maggie just loves it, and it mixes easily with Miralax. I'll have to syringe her a drink of water to make sure she's gettting enough water.

Oh, well, the YoBaby Simply Plain comes in a pack of 4 and each is 4 oz. Each 4 ozs has 6 grams of sugar which includes milk sugars! Sounds like you might have a better deal with the Chobani possibly and less sugar in a larger portion of yogurt!

Hope you get some poo soon and a vet visit is not necessary. Hope the yogurt helps. Nice that Maggie likes it so well.

I called the Vet earlier and the plan is if Maggie doesn't have a poo by tomorrow morning, I'm to bring her in at 11:00 am, and he will give her an enema! Poor Maggie!

Hi Dale, thanks on the yogurt. Since she likes it so much, 'm giving her another bedtime dose, kind of like a nightcap for her :-D

Amy, thanks; Mags did okay on this dose. The yogurt spiked just a little, but not bad!

Thanks Dale. She seems to like this dose, yogurt and all, too! :-D I just gave her another tsp. mixed with Miralax. Now she gets some water.

Hi Ann,

I can't believe there are still no poos! Come on Maggie! You've gone way too long. Time to use the lb. Momma's taking you to the vet tomorrow if you don't go. Seriously though, that's a long time. Racci hasn't gone yet either but it's the first day. I have to give an extra dose of Miralax and hope she doesn't get diarrhea.

I hope you had a good time with your out of town friends.
