Jack apparently prefers baking in the sun as opposed to swimming in the nice blue sea. Today is day 5 of the increased 6.5 unit dose, I was hoping he would have been doing better with it by now.

His diet has pretty much not changed, he still insists on the filets at night and the 50/50 Elsey/Ziwi kibble mix in the morning, but he has been eating pate at night a little more, but not enough to give the insulin so he still get some filets. I've been wrapped up with Pumpkin's diet, which it turns out he's allergic to one of the three urinary prescription formulas, so doing antihistamines and switching to some other allergy prescription diet (I forget all the letters) which the vet claims is also good for urinary issues. I just can't keep up, so I haven't been spending too much time fighting with Jack. I guess I figured even if the diet is crummy, there should be a good dose for him, even if it's higher than it would be if Jack cooperated. I don't know anymore....
