Both times today I had to poke her ear several times, as I couldn’t get a good drop for the stupid meter + last night and this morning I gave her zobaline in about 1/3 of a pill pocket. Could both these things have contributed to those ugly numbers? Or is it still just early-days randomness that I shouldn’t take personally?

I will definitely crush the zobaline in her food from now on, just in case.

Definitely do not take it personally! Blame the cat. :cat:

Pill pockets have some carbs in their ingredients. But looks like she’s still always from a dose that will move her. If you don’t see below 300 by the morning, you can increase again by 0.5 units.

I would be very surprised to see her dip under 300 at this point, seems likely we will be going up tomorrow.

That is really funny - I absolutely felt a couple days ago like I had it under control, would get a perfect drop the first time every time… and then …A little humility lesson! Maybe because it’s not as disgustingly hot today, her ear is just warm instead of boiling :p
