Hi Mike, Bj is trying out consistency, yay! And notice he is surfing a calm number :cool: not a nailbiter :-D He is still giving you a break before his next gambit to get off the juice. My guess FWIW he will show you some green a little later, probably not the anxiety green. You have seen Bj throught enough lows I suppose the novelty has worn off and they probably dont really scare you anymore. Hope we all enjoy today's episode of the Adventures of Bj!

I'm so sorry to hear about Mr. Beasley, Dian :cry:

My bite looks okay. Thanks for asking because I forgot to put cream on it after my shower. No swelling or wierdness thank god. And the lady is going to pay to fix our car.

Glad your bite seems ok, do keep an eye on it, you definitely dont want it go bad. Good thing the lady will take care of you car repair too, one less aggravation to deal with. Bj is surfing along nicely, surely eyeing the green but not diving in just yet. Will be interesting to see what he has planned for his next number...

Yeah, I took the night off. No greens at all today though and he's the highest he's been in five days. Still a good surf though. Wondering if I should go back to .25u

Hi Mike

Just looked at your SS. I understand your concern about these blues. BJ certainly isn't making things too easy :mrgreen: But then he *is* a cat, after all.

You've had a pretty quick series of reductions these past few days, and I think what you're seeing has to do with BJ's system being a tad behind the times; his shed hasn't quite caught up and balanced out yet. Keep in mind, too, that the reductions (although going from tiny amounts of insulin to minute amounts of insulin and so on, at this stage) have grown in percentage, as it were: From 0.75u to 0.5u is about 30% less insulin, but the next 2 reductions are "bigger" (from 0.5u to 0.25u is 50% less insulin, and from 0.25u to 0.1u is 40% less insulin). BJ *might* just need another day to "catch up."

I'd give him that day. Let's see what the others think.
