Yesterday's Birthday Party

Thank you, everyone, for the wonderful birthday visits to Zener yesterday. We all enjoyed them very much! :-D :-D Today is starting off very well. Appy is very happy, mostly at his picnic table. He'd eat a bowl, then go sniff at things in the yard, then eat another bowl. We've had over an inch of rain from tropical storm Ivo so things are very damp, especially for us. Tillie has an excellent appy this morning too. She was not interested in food last night, sniffing and walking away, so looks like that's better this morning. The tree guy is returning this morning to cut down 3 more trees. They cut down one yesterday that didn't seem to bother the kitties, except when he came inside. :shock: And we had a couple of claps of thunder that sent two fuzzy butts under the beds. :shock: :shock: That made us jump too but we didn't get under the beds. :lol: :lol:

Hi Liz. Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Zener, Tillie and you. I'm sorry I missed the party yesterday. Zener sure is looking good this morning. Hope he has his surfing clothes on. Really surprised that the chain saws used to cut the tree yesterday didn't frighten the kitties. They sure are brave kitties.

I'm very happy to hear both Zener and Tillie are eating well. :-D
The sound of thunder doesn't seem to scare my cats much, but Ginger runs away so fast whenever I start sneezing. :lol:

Oh what a happy green start for Mr Z! Great news on the appy. Tarragon agrees about the thunder but between the beans is much safer. Have a great day all!!

I hope the T-storms are over for a while, they send our kitties under the bed too. I'm almost jealous of your rain. Ours fizzled out again.

Oh my, the mighty Z had an all green cycle. Appy is happy, poo is poofect, and the birthday boy stalked a worm that came on our back porch in the rain. It's been a great post-birthday day. Thanks to all for stopping in and for wishing our guy a happy birthday. We think at a certain age, that of a gentleman cat, you can celebrate a birthday all year! party_cat

Classes begin tomorrow, so we will be back at work, we have to break it to the kitties later...

Hope everyone has a calm and drama-free Tuesday evening in LL.

Yep it's a definite YAWZER :shock: and a PJ party on the west coast. Come one, come all. :mrgreen:

ETA: Putting the jug on, the PJ party is go! And there are lots of honey laced treats for the low greeners. ~O)

And of course, tomorrow is the first day of classes and I teach from 10-12 and 1-3. Thank goodness it isn't an 8 o'clock class. :cool:
