Yucky pink day yesterday, and started Red today but heading downwards, so hopefully he'll see some better numbers today. If he keeps this up I'll have to threaten a dosecrease, and possibly a vetty visit to see if he has another tooth doing something evil. Sigh. very frustrated lately. Oh well,

Rupert seems absolutely fine, was quite zoomy and silly and happy last night so I guess the main thing is that he's alive, and happy and completely unbothered by all of the drama! I've given up on the idea of remission, and even possibly proper regulation and am now just focusing on the fact that he's happy and oh so much better than he was when we started all of this.

Hope everyone has as good a Monday as is possible ! (given that it IS a Monday!).

Hi guys .. There ya go rupert! Nice and easy, come on down to the lower floors .. I sure hope he doesn't have any teefers that are bothering him, but I guess you never know .. It is a good feeling to see our babies feeling better after we start treatment, even if their numbers are erratic .. mocha was the same way .. her numbers were all over the place, with no regulation in sight .. I was frustrated and often cried over it all .. but I just kept trudging on (even though every day I had to remind myself it was not about the greens on the SS, but more her life quality) and eventually, nearly two years later we found regulation .. and then went OTJ! So hang in there, cause you never, ever know where the FD dance will lead you ...

I agree.
You just don't know. I've seen others who have gone a long time and still get there.
Slide on down, Rupert.

Is Rupert always accounted for?
My outdoor cat used to disappear for a couple of hours and I found out someone else was feeding him too.
And it wouldn't even have to be intentional.
Someone else might just keep food outside for their own pet.

I have a neighbor who gives canned dog food to the coyotes trying to keep them from eating their ducks
or chickens.
The county can't stop them but we sure know which ones are well fed by how nice their coats are.
I live right by the golf course and we have lots of coyotes because of the rabbits.

Hi, I see Rupert came down quite a bit today. Try not to get too discouraged, he is happy and feeling good, and you are right that is the main thing. Hope you both have a great evening!

thanx for the visits guys, and the words of encouragement! I'm such a whiner!

so he snuck back up to the pink for PMPS but is back down into the blue already by +2.5... a drop of 75pts per hour (average).. which is more or less the norm for Rupie lately! grrr. hopefully he slows down and surfs some nice blues for a while. I'm anticipating the usual swoop up the other side by tomorrow morning though.

Rupie...you do love those drops! Time to flatten out and not keep your mom up all night.

OK, that's a real big drop by +4...
When is his normal nadir?
Everything good?

Carl

Ha ha, Carl, I take it you haven't visited Rupert much before? that's a fairly typical drop for him, and in fact his 'average'... he can, and does, go bigger fairly often! Seems to have flattened out now, his nadir usually around +4/5 ish, and he's heading up now for the start of a whopper bounce as usual!

no worries here! thanx for checking on us though!

Ha, you're right, first time looking in on Rupert, and happy you've got it under control. He is quite the diver and bouncer, isn't he?

Carl
