We increased this morning. I give up on the laser therapy. Buster is still licking and has been hiding under the bed. I will call today and get some Bupe. I feel bad that we've been trying all these things and I probably should have had him on pain management the whole time. Poor guy is prolly achy and sore. No more road trips, Bu. You have been a very good boy through all of this cat_pet_icon

Yikes! That is definitely not a Buster number this morning. Good luck with the increase.

Pain management is very much an ECID thing. It's hard to say what will work for each cat. I haven't tried the class 4 lasers yet and keep wondering if the next treatment type will be the magic one. You might want to try a few syringes of bupe from the vet to see if it helps, then get a script for a compounding pharmacy which makes it way cheaper. Neko loves her chicken flavored bupe. I call it her "chicken soup".

Thanks Wendy. We had tried Tramadol and Gabapentin, but they did nothing. Fingers, paws and tails crossed this one finally brings relief!

I do not like these numbers, Sam I am. Not in a box, not with a fox!! Buster sort of picked at lunch, which is not normal. I hope he has hoovered it down by the time I come home from lunch. Called the vet to get some Bupe. Can't wait to try it! I just want to go home and hug him and squeeze him and call him George :?

Good luck with the dosecrease. I hope the bupe helps Buster feel better. Sometimes it's so hard to know what will help and we just have to keep trying things.
