Today is officially Zener's 15th birthday! Happy birthday, big guy! :RAHCAT :RAHCAT :RAHCAT When we adopted him as a rescue from a local pet store, we thought he was female and we were going to name him Xena. Oops. We switched to Zener, who invented the Zener diode. Same pronunciation, but with an R on the end. He was 1.5 lbs with blue eyes. He would crawl into teeny tiny cuddly places where it was hard to find him. He still likes enclosed cuddly places.
He is feeling fine this morning, except for that yucky number (which only seems to affect the bean). He did a big yard patrol and ate a bunch (yay for prednisolone). I cut the pred back this morning because he just seems a little frantic for food and we want to give him the minimum amount possible.
OT: Anne gets home tonight! 0 darks, kitties! They are very excited. The forecast is for a bunch of rain. Paws crossed for the flight from Phoenix to Flagstaff. And paws crossed that British Air can find some vegan food for her that isn't moldy (unlike the flight over :-x ). We will be sooooo glad to see her!
Thinking of ailing kitties and beans and grieving beans too, Amy's DF, Wendy's DM and DA, Tricia, Cinco and civie Sasha, Dyana's J.D. Happy Tuesday, LL!
