One of the things that I will miss the most about Tuscany is her purr. She has a rusty, squeaky, wheezy purr. It's of medium volume and it's the kind of purr that makes you smile. She also snores - but don't tell her I told.
One of Tuscany's favorite play things was tissue paper. She used to love laying on tissue. And she used to love having a shoe lace slid under the tissue paper so she could pounce on it and paw at it and bite at it. She would play that way for as long as either of us would oblige. I tried laying out some tissue paper a few weeks ago - she didn't want to have anything to do with it...
This am DH and I had more discussion - thinking that maybe by waiting til next Thursday it is too long. Tuscany just seemed more uncomfortable today and it almost now seems like the tight, tense skin over the mass is thinning. I hope it doesn't break thru before next week. I am going to talk with the vet tomorrow. I am thinking of increasing the bupe to a full .1 ml for the rest of the time. It is still within the allowed dose for her weight - but I will need to go get more to last til next Thursday.
It just seems amazing to me that Tuscany still has such a good appetite. In fact - she is eating more. It used to take her all day to finish her can - now she is polishing it off within the first 3-4 hours. I feel bad - so I put more food out (if I am home). Good thing we really aren't trying for control at this point in time - I think I'd have to go to an autofeeder if I was.
