8/26 Tink AMPS 380, +2=330

The numbers I posted are from memory so might be slightly off - I did not bring them with me to update the SS. But... there was only a 50pt drop at +2, which is considerably less than yesterday... so I feel fairly confident that I dont need to go home at lunch to test. Yesterday he had a 100pt drop but then surfed the yellow as far as I can tell.

If all goes well I'll be upping to 2.5u for Friday's PM dose - and have the long weekend (holy crap, HOW is it already Labor Day?!?!) to monitor.

Need to go pick up some mc food this week - I have lc and some hc, but no mc. Granted, I guess in a pinch I could use human food... he LOVES his human food. So far he's stolen cucumber, zucchini and most recently, TOMATO. All while I'm tending to the pot on the stove for 5 seconds. Stinker! That's not counting the sink raids. Though those are largely unfruitful since we've been pretty diligent about rinsing off all the dishes before they hit the sink. Still... he tries. He knows we'll forget eventually. :roll:

In a pinch, you can also combine LC and HC to make MC. Tomatoes! OMG! :shock: :lol: Tink is such a character. One of my favorite pictures of Neko is her with her front paws in the sink, bum and tail on the edge while she's checking out what's there. :roll:

i've never had such a clean kitchen counter and sink as in the past year with these 2 kittens. OMG they get into everything! i hear the THUD when they jump off the counter, then i yell, like that does any good! :lol: i tried upside down carpet runner, upside down duct tape, foil and spraying the water bottle. i covered the counters with boxes for a while. Nothing kept them off the counters.

and then, like a beaten-down woman, i gave up. FINE, own the counters, you little stinkers! now i just wash the counters every single time i want to fix food, and i fix most of it on our pull-out bread boards that don't have little litter box feet ever touching them.

i never had different carb foods - just low carb and high carb. if i wanted more, i gave punkin more volume of low carb. he could always be counted on to eat more, so that worked for both of us.
