Four days in a row of at least one green cycle and a decent amps has my hopes up that Max is on to something. I used to know when it was safe to stop testing him but now I'm not so sure. He had so many pokies the last few days that even though I was up later than his +7 I just couldn't test again when he had a 71 on his last test.

Max didn't wake me this morning so I thought maybe he would have a higher BG than he did. He ate his baby food and a little ff so that is good because Marta will be here and he will be under the bed. Thank goodness for the risers I got from bed and bath and that I am small enough to crawl under the bed when I need him and he won't come out!

I'm sending prayers to Amy and her family today and a good vet report for Polly. Vines and prayers to all others in need.

More than a food spike. Looks like he might bounce. What happened to the mission, Max?

Whoa there Max! not too high. Hopefully he either surfs yellows..at worst.. or comes down a bit after the food spike to some blues and greens!

sometimes the pancreas can help things out for a while, then it gets a bit exhausted and lets go. it does look like a bounce is starting, but he's resolving them quickly so fingers crossed that this doesn't last too long.

Thanks for the explanation as I was wondering why he was going up this time. Marta is cleaning and he is under the bed so I will wait and test again probably at +3. Max will be happy I skip a poke.

Just coaxed him out from under the bed and he is back in the blue.

look at him go now. i'm gonna guess his pancreatitis flare has subsided -he's back on track!

Julie, I'm not sure that he has had a pancreatitis episode since we started this dance. His appy has for the most part been almost too good and hence the weight gain. Something good "might" be happening this week but I've thought that before and been disappointed so I'm trying not to get excited. Can diabetes cure pancreatitis? Maybe if his pancreas heals with the help of insulin he won't have more episodes? I'm not sure about any of this.

Sorry I didn't make it back around last night. I'm sorry you didn't get much sleep. Max is looking spectacular.

I missed you, too, while I was gone. I hope I can get some time to get to more than just new member condos.

I'm so sorry about your mom. I hope they can figure out what's going on with her. She's been through so much. I'll send extra prayers.
