Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (Elsa - lots (!!) please! This bean is so sleepy...), and Happy Monday everyone!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is CHEERY CHERRY MONDAY!! Lola and Bug want to make their cheery cherry pizza pies. It is after all Monday, and that is now tradition! I have to admit that they are pretty good! They finally learned to keep the cheery cherry whip on the pies, and stop squirting it all over the kitchen. They are no longer pink!... not like last week, and the week before, and the week before that. Good thing too! Now that Ollie is OTJ and at the Falls, who would come with the sponges and clean up all that sheery cherry whip????? :shock: :roll: :roll: Besides, I tolds them that LL kitties do not like PINK. so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of cheery cherry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized cheery cherries and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!AND!!!! We gots an extra special treat for today: CHEERY CHERRY CHEESECAKE! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! I love cheery cherry Mondays. :cool:

I hope everyone had a great weekend, and a good Sunday yesterday. Mine tuned in to a family type day. My eldest DS came for breffis, and stayed a bit,. it's nice to have the time to sit and talk some. My youngest DS came by after dinner, just to hang out some. That too was nice. WOOT! Both boys on one day. As Nicholas would day: Major GOOD! In between visits I went to the shore, for short walk through the woods to the shoreline. Another nice day there. Clouds started to roll in as I left, looks like we may be due for some wet weather! I have read of thunderstorms , with lightning in the mountains so it is probably a good thing that today was not a hike day.... All in all I sure didn't do much yesterday. oh well, that's OK. sometimes it is nice to be non-productive! :lol: :lol:

Normalcy in MusketeerVille. :cool: :cool: :cool: Elsa spent the day playing with the nanners - YAY!, and sleeping most of the morning away. At 17 I think she is entitled. and after her excellent labs from last week (love the 75 BG!), I will cut her some slack. :-D Sleep all you want Elsa. Good girl! Bug was busy carrying kitty toys from en room to another. :lol: :lol: :lol: That is one aspect of his behavior that he did not inherit from Mannie. Mannie never was a kitty toy kitty, but give him a nanner? Complete 1801! Lola was.... well: LOLA! My DS played with her some, got her going pretty good. as he turns to go into another room I told Lola to go get him.... and....She did! ran as fast as she could, and the leaped onto his back. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: The look on my son's face was priceless. GO LOLA! After removing the cat, he sets her on the ground, where she proceeds to watch him very closely. As he raised his arm to scratch his head she leaps from the floor, wraps her front paws around his arm and just hangs there, with a very loud "MEOW". seems she wasn't done playing.... :lol: :lol: :lol: oh where oh wherer was my camera.... in the charger..... :roll: :roll: :roll:

Have a great day everyone. I hope to hike today - to the North cascades, but really do need to wait a few and see if eh weather there is good. There has been alot of rains in the mountains the past week. Hmmmmm... let's see: I did that kind of distance mountain hike last week. I sure could use a sunny one! so... we shall see how things pan out here this morning. ;-)

wow!! look at this kitchen....it's spotless! I'm putting my sponges away for another day! Maybe we can go to the treehouse and make some pizzas for lunch? and some cookies? Then we can play on Mannie's ziplines? Auntie Michelle will have too quiet a day if we don't make some noise! Whoooo hooooo... off to the treehouse! xoxoxo ollie - I"M BAAACKKKK!

Congrats on that 75 for Elsa! She's certainly entitled to naps. She has to nap for the whole household, since i never hear about anyone else napping. :-D :-D :-D 'cept after swimming and berry picking :lol: :lol:

Woohoooo on that 75 - go Elsa!!! Oh Lola...you crazy kitty! My civvie Frankie used to jump on peoples' backs, too. She did it to my brother once, and just about scared the you-know-what out of him :lol: !She seems to have outgrown it, although I never underestimate her ability to pull out vintage antics :lol: !

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Mine was great - I did make that hike. It took a while to find one though. Most of the hike places I still wanted to do were under rain advisories, plus isolated t-storms etc. so.... no way! I have no need to be on a mountain with thunder storms going on.... I ended up 6 miles this side of Snoqualmie Pass at Talapus and Olallie Lakes. And (YAY!) they had sun. WOOT! Well they did until about 1PM when the clouds moved in and the sprinkles started. My cue LOL to exit the mountain. Rains really weren't that bad, and it was still warm, so no biggie. The lakes were really very pretty, Olallie Lake had better shore access so I spent most of my time there. They are starting to get a little fall color there too. fall already? darn.... I had a good time. Climbed about 1350 feet, did maybe 9 miles, maybe 8.5. I decided to stop in at the Snoqulamie River by Twin falls, just to hang out there for a bit before heading home. It was nice: a little sun, river was pretty, some quiet time more or less, as it was a little busy there. It was a nice way to wrap up the day. :cool: I will post the Picassa links on tomorrow's condo.

Hi Mary - THx on Elsa - that 875 sure was nice to see. YAY! And I so agree on those naps. No dummie there. :lol: LOL on the others - I agree: it seems like they don't take them, but I suspect that they do while I am out and about... Or in between the nightly thundering herd episodes in the middle of the night. :lol:

Hi Barb - i agree! I was lucky! I so agree on kittens - they are crazy, but it rally is alot of fun,. Maybe someday you can get some little ones. maybe?
 
Sounds like a great day of hiking! :-D :-D Yep, it is starting to feel a little fallish here too. All I am say for Lola and Bug is that they definitely fell into a tub of butter. :lol: :lol: Lucky kitties.

Hi Michelle - sounds like you found a very nice hike today. The only serious rain we've had so far lasted about 1/2 hour. The rest was just the odd sprinkle. I've noticed the odd sign of fall. So sad after such a great summer we've had.

Too funny and Lola and the back jumping. I hope she had her nails trimmed recently. :lol: When Neko was young she used to jump on my back if I crouched down for any reason. Sort of glad that stopped as she got older and heavier. :lol: :lol: It can be quite the shock if you aren't expecting it.
 
HI Wendy - THX, and yes I did. Hike was nice, not too difficult and the lakes sure were pretty. Sprinkles say ti well, it really was all that we got. it i the same for us: weather is beginning to change, fall is int he air. It will be interesting to see how September is. Our summer has been fantastic too! oh yes on Lola and that back jumping. I too sure hope that stops soon. One have to love the young kitties - everything is an adventure for sure.
