So with this stupid exhausting schedule I have, I am purposely keeping Jack a little high since there is no one at the house to monitor, and no one to ask to help out. (What does everyone do??) He is still on 7.5 units, but I'm feeding him higher carb wet food and leaving kibble out for him when I leave the house for 9-10 hours at a time. I should be able to get back to the pate fight and hopefully reduction again over the weekend, as I will be working from home and not need to be out. Thanks for everything, especially your encouragement and support. If anyone would do anything differently, please let me know. I am struggling to manage my works schedules and Jack at the same time. Also, if anyone knows of a pet sitter in the Northeast PA area who is trustworthy and willing to give insulin/monitor BG, please let me know. I am not having much luck finding one, even through the vet clinics. I may have to go to NYC to deal with some stuff for my Mom and can't take the cat with me.
