The experiment continues

Well, she continues to be doing much better since the +10 shot on Sunday!

At least (for now anyway) that infernal bouncing from 300+ to 50'something has stopped (anti jinx)

If I can get her back to something that resembles a normal Lantus curve, at least then I can deal with whatever the numbers are, but when she was going from bounce to bounce, it was impossible

We had a group play session with Da Bird today ...man is that hard to do! Keeping Da Bird in flight, while keeping 3 cats from crashing into each other trying to catch Da Bird is a real challenge! Sure would be nice to have an intelligent octopus!

Hope you're all having a nice Tuesday and aren't melting to death like we are. They keep extending the heat alerts! We're in day 5 of 100-110 heat indexes and it's just plain miserable if you have to be outside! (and then there's my smart-a**sed sons who keep calling to check on me because they hear an announcement on the radio or TV saying to "check on the elderly")

I'm glad China is giving you some flatter numbers right now. How nice on the play today. That would be hard with three kitties.

Glad things seem to be calming down some with China....hopefully she gets back on track here soon

Well perhaps you should just be glad they call at all! Some kids don't bother. I'm sure you have a snappy retort for them, anyway. They had to have gotten their smart a$$es somewhere! :lol: :lol: :lol:

China is looking much better. Lovely blue surf today. I hope she continues to keep it on an even keel.

Looks like I'll be able to go on to bed without worrying about China going too low tonight. Going to give her another couple of cycles and then if she's still stable and not bouncing all over the place, and her numbers aren't any better, I guess it looks like a dosecrease threat should be put out there!

Well, later today is my 1 week follow up after surgery, and they're be removing the staples or sutures or whatever they put in there. I haven't seen the incision since they did it. BOY will I be happy to get this bandaging off! Directly over the incision is just gauze, but over that is a huge piece of tape that covers pretty much my right lower quadrant and in the kind of heat we've been having, it's ITCHY!!!

We're going to shoot late one more time in the morning which brings us up to our regular 6/6 schedule again, so that'll be nice. We got there a little sooner than we should have (at 15 min per cycle) but I missed the PM shots the last couple of days by a bit, so those shots were later than they were supposed to be.

Hopefully China will be a good girl and surf safely while I'm gone too!
