Good and bad news today. Bad first; I think that amps is from kibble. I found empty bowl this morning. I presume, I carelessly forgot to pick up Clancy's kibble, last night, as Checkers never has a HI amps.

Good news is, he feels great this morning. (of course, he probably had a party before I got up).
He's been following me all over the house, talking to me.....Probably telling me about his good luck. :lol:

He certainly wasn't much interested in the Wellness Chicken...had all meds, and is currently looking for more trouble to get into.

Marje, I called the clinic a couple of weeks ago, when I saw that Gus gets laser treatment. They don't have the equipment.
I suspect it wouldn't help Checkers' bone on bone pain, but I plan to ask about the therapy, anyway. Thank You :smile:

There are no other pain meds that he can have either, with his kidney issues. No NSAIDS for him!! I asked about all!

He's feeling pretty good today; more active than usual. :-D

Checkers must be ecstatic that Mama-bean is finally speaking his language. How long did it take her to understand 'kibble"? :lol: :lol:

Glad Checkers is feeling his oats - good start to the week!

Oh, Checkers! Stay out of the kibble! I can just imagine his delight when he found it :lol: Oh well, I hope he gets it out of his system quickly and continues to feel good!

Phoey...this isn't from having kibble last night, or early this mornin.
I gave zero line, R, at his 7.5, hope to stop him, before he gets to the black floor. Hmmm, maybe a different meter? :roll:

He's still feeling good, for someone with such high numbers.

That was a pretty big drop from that R.

Guess Checkers didn't hear Amy telling him not to bounce.
Only some of it is a bounce, and yes Dyana, it was pretty steep.

I gave him some HC food, with most of the gravy rinsed off, hoping to keep him from dropping too quickly, but he loved it and I gave him more at the next test.
It's so unusual for him to love a food, that I just couldn't resist.....I so want him to eat. He's extremely thin.

I understand. I love it when J.D. eats hungrily, too :-D And, I spoil J.D. because he's older, but I do mostly give him broiled steak and boiled chicken and thawed out cooked frozen shrimp and occasionally a bit of fresh steamed lobster from the grocer, and he gets his freeze dried treats (salmon, chicken, chicken liver, and beef liver, with sometimes some Grandma Lucy's fishy treats), some bits of human tuna with water only, a FF Appetizer and maybe a couple temptations now and then. As treats only and not all at the same time of course. ;-)

I understand that, too...I was always the same with Mario. When he wanted to eat, my world stopped so I could feed him, for the same reason. They deserve the extra time and attention!

Hi Barb,
Sorry about the high number, but I'm glad he is feeling well.
I too understand that because Lucy often goes into "don't want to eat" mode.
Her appetite has improved, but when it was bad, her appetite was the main factor of my happiness level each day.
