Good morning!
AMPS 349 shooting 2.25u

Very happy to see those blues and a green yesterday! But once again I didn't manage to catch the drop when it first started. And he dropped a lot yesterday! And with last night's +3 it appeared that a bounce was starting. Again. Will this be the dose where he actually comes down into blue/green a second time? I hope so!

Boomer ate most of his overnight fuds. I had given him a wee bit less in his +3 so that he would hopefully be hungry enough at +6 to eat on his own. So what happens.....he's hungry before his +6 and wakes me up  MAN! Allen ate well overnight.

Boomer decided that he didn't want his breffis this morning. I'm pretty sure he was holding out for chicken pieces. Tried chicken pate. nope. Turkey pate. nope. Fowl ball. nope. Took some chicken pieces and shredded into the chicken pate. Yup he'll eat that. Then DH decides that the muffins he always makes on Saturday morning have to be started right now! Even though he knows Boomer doesn't like kitchen noises. Bangs a bunch of pans around. Boomer runs and hides after a couple of bites. sigh. Grabbed Boomer, gave him his shot without waiting for DH because I'm po'd and put Boomer in the bedroom with his 2 plates of various fuds. Just went in to give him his chicken piece and he's in the process of eating both plates of food.

Judy - I am so happy to hear that Boomer is eating - I am going through something similar and the stress of givng insulin to a non eating cat is too much. Here's to Boomer joining the clean plate club today (and all days)

Getting Boomer to eat is usually not a problem. This morning....I think he was holding out for chicken pieces

Slow us yesterday's cycle Boomer!

Last night, I had a similar problem with DH with the damn TV turned up so loud while I was trying to test Bubba. I had to ask him 3 times to turn it down. Then he starts to get the dogs all excited about going out. Geez. Finally, I said, " NO one make a peep for a minute, I mean not a peep!" Bubba is the same way, does not like noise going on while he is eating.

Yup it takes about 5 minutes to feed Boomer and give him his shot and it's not like DH doesn't know the routine  GRRR

Oh, Judy, thanks for posting this. It made me chuckle cuz I thought I was the only one that had a hubby that is completely oblivious to our feeding and shooting woos. Gizmo is much better now vs when he wasn't eating well but he will get distracted "oh, goody, daddy's home" and would rather get petted and lovins than eat. :banghead:

I had asked Dr Larry if Boomer should go on an antibiotic prior to the dental and he thought it was a good idea. He had originally told me to start in on Wednesday (dental is Friday) but when I stopped by to pick it up today he said to go ahead and start it today because I probably wouldn't want to be trying to pill him right after the dental.
