The mighty Z had blutiful cycles yesterday. We haven't seen any greens in almost a week at this dose, though he's gotten pretty close. If I wasn't leaving for 2 weeks in London with classes starting for Liz on Monday, we would probably fattened up the dose again. But with all that and his sometimes diminished morning appy and tummy problems, we think staying here until I get back is probably the safest (unless he skyrockets to really ugly numbers). His numbers haven't been bad, we'd just like to have him in healing numbers more. We gotta keep the big guy safe. cat_pet_icon

Paws crossed Marje is feeling better this morning, Mannie starts eating with enthusiasm and healing energy to all other kitties and beans in need this Caturday.

Hi Anne, I can see why you would want to leave Zener at this dose with so much going on for both you and Liz. I hope he shows some greens yet on this dose. Are you almost ready for your trip tomorrow?

How exciting you are heading to the paralympics in London, i hope you have a fabulous time!!

That looks like the flattest cycle i've ever seen on Zener, what a huge change from the rainbow kitty we all know and love! I hope he decides to dip his toes into the green lagoon, and keep eating your fuds Z-man.

I think you might still see some greens on this dose again, hopefully, knock on wood.

I didn't know you were leaving tomorrow, for some reason I thought it was a week away. Have a nice trip, Anne!

Lovely blue start to the day! He seems to be a pro at this surfing stuff!!! Granted, I know you two would prefer it be in the pretty greens, but like you said, with all that's going on in the next two weeks, it's very smart to stay at your current dose. Smart people making smart decisions!

Anne, best wishes on safe travels tomorrow! Liz, well, the good news is that you have one and a half more days until classes start! :-D Hope you all have a wonderful Caturday!

@Ann & Maggie - we have paws crossed for some green at this dose, but he's not heading that way today so far. :evil: I am trying to get my piles in order and start packing to leave tomorrow. :o

@Tracy - Zener has been flatter lately. He still is bouncy off lower numbers or a long run of nice numbers, but not as high or for as long, so that's some progress. :smile: He's eating better now, the sliver of cypro helps.

@Dyana - knocking on green wood! :lol:

@Deborah - he does this sometimes, starts low and goes up during the cycle. We would love pretty and healthy green numbers, but we will have to be patient until I return (unless it gets really ugly). Thanks for your kind words about our smarts and my travel wishes! :-D

Looks like a pokey break until PMPS.

Anne I hope you have a good trip. I think you made the right decision to leave Zener on this dose. Who knows, maybe he'll show some green for you soon.

Zenner - back into the blue waters - you were well on your way to being crowned Big Kahuna! (okay - you can wear the crown now if it will motivate you back to blueness)

Anne - how fabulous about the para-olympics!!!!!~ I read the article on you and what you do and was thrilled and amazed. What an incredible profession and kudos to be one of only 40 who can do what you do.

Have a wonderful trip Anne. ParaEquestrians are staying in the village. Hope you get to meet some of them. I'll be watching all I can on the net.

Liz, good luck with school. Perhaps Zener is a little stressed because he senses change in the next few days. Sometimes they are more perceptive than we give them credit for.

Zener, think green please.

Have a great trip, Anne. It will be very exciting to follow the Paraolympics on the TV. I'm sure you and Liz are making the right decision to leave Zener's dose where it is and see how it goes until you get home.

@Ella - we hope we're making the right choice, but with the first week of classes being so crazy, it will be hard for Liz to monitor as closely as we like to do. She will see how things go and adjust as she is able and is necessary. :smile:

Definitely a good choice to keep dose at one level...You dont want him too low that you would worry, and with that flat cycle, anything could happen-Enjoy ! Hugs & Love from us!! Have a good trip Anne!!

I should have visited yesterday instead Zener was looking much more gorgeous!

OK Zener you're still gorgeous but pink - really.

Very exciting about the paralympics, much more interesting to me than the general olympics, and I have been showing off a little saying 'I know someone' tee hee.

@Roni - aarrgghhhhh....we don't like pinks, hard to feel confident in our dose decision tonight, but you are so right, flat cycles can mean anything! :shock:

@Serryn - he was gorgeously blue until mid-cycle today, then up jumped the devil! :evil: You may be able to catch some of the games on telly in Australia. The coverage is often better in former host countries. And Sydney did a fantastic job in 2000, my first Paralympic Games.

Well, at least the big guy is heading in the right direction now! Paws crossed he gets his all night slide on. :razz:
