Smokey's BG preshot this evening was 278. That's slightly lower than I was expecting- will test again soon for a +1-1.5 hr number. He is eating great and even let my parents pet him!!! (though there were shrimp treats involved in that ;-) ) I got some larger gauge lancets (26) and they seem to be helping with drawing blood. We are now using the sweet spot!
