8/25 Smokey AMPS 320 +1.5U Lantus

We've moved back to 12 hr intervals. Smokey's AMPS was 320. This is less than I thought it would be as it has been 16 hrs from previous shot. In an ideal world I would have slowly adjusted the shots back to 7:30 but I thought it might be best/easier to "start fresh" after the 10 hour dosing of the past two days. Unfortunately, I have family in town for the next several days and so it will be difficult for me to much testing other than PS (Smokey isn't a fan of others and hides when anyone but me is in the apt).

Thanks everyone for the advice and encouragement last night. I'm feeling more encouraged this morning!

That was a good way to shift back to a 12-hour cycle. If Smokey doesn't do well with visitors, would it be easier if you gave him his "own" room (i.e., shut the door and leave him with his box and food?

I would try to get some tests in when you can. There's still a BIG shed that's going to influence your numbers and while it was 16 hours, there's no way to know exactly how Smokey's BG levels will play out.

i also take punkin in another room to test him while company is here. he hides in our basement anyway, so i go to him to test.
