punkin's just fine this morning - no complaints. cheering while his breakfast was getting prepared "purrrr, puuurrrr, meow, purrrr, purrrr, meow" and fluffy tail straight up for me to follow to the food bowl. in case i was going to get lost.

he's snoring now while he's having morning nap #1. i'm sure it will be followed by naps #2-20 later today.

got a new toy at petco when i was there the other day. a feather wand for $1.99 on clearance. ohmygosh anya LOVES it - punkin watches carefully, considering his options, but then chooses to not move. his little nose went into full gear sniffing when i got it close to him, though. i suspect those are real chicken feathers that have been dyed and are attached to the wand.

girlfriend coming over to sew quilts with me today. wahoo!

What a great report for Punkin today I hope he's given you some good numbers today too.

I bought a feather wand for Leo as well, he loves it! Good to hear Anya enjoys it.

I agree - what a nice report for Punkin. He and Mannie think alike - no way will he play with those toys... he looks at me like I have grown a second head... silly boy!

I hope you had fun with your friend, and the quilt seeing... my mom did that - I never was very good. :roll:

Looks like Punkin's had a good day with a lot of blue. Yeah. Glad that Anya enjoyed the toy and sounds like at least it held Punkin's attention. My cats' enjoy a good toy now and again, although they are getting older and not quite as interested. Their favorite is still the plain old brown "cat dancer" - They've never loved a toy the way they love those things! Wire and cardboard, amazing what they will amuse themselves with.

Here's hoping Punkin has a great day tomorrow (and you too, Julie).
