8/25 Pearl OTJ trial Day 3 PMBG 125 due to Pred

Good afternoon! Pearl has started off well today. She had her Pred at AM +3 (I am trying a lower dose), so we will see how her PMBG looks on it. Yes, I have resisted the urge to test more this cycle!

The 125 is on par with how she would be on Pred with the insulin. She might or might not go fully back down to green before I go to sleep, if she continues to follow that pattern. I’ll know more with tomorrow’s AMBG and if she has come back down all the way.

So many variables you have to contend with! Can't wait to see tomorrow.

With a blue PMBG, you can test again in 3 hours and see if her numbers come down. Some people use any excuse for a second test. Good luck with the rest of day 3.
