Luci is comfortably napping up there in the nest in the middle of that high lemon tree - once again. These yellow bookends are getting old...oh well...maybe she'll decide that today would be another great day to slide on down to the Tiki Hut and then off to the lagoon for a bit of surfing.

Yesterday afternoon was a nice break for her beans - we went to the Holly Hotel - a victorian mansion in a nearby town for their High Tea luncheon and a bit of shopping at a boutique. We rarely do anything like that but felt it was time to break out of the routine and Luci cooperated by relaxing on the beach in the Tiki Hut with the other kids.

What a beautiful place to go for lunch and break away from the routine, glad you had a good time! I love everything victorian and I have a perfect spot for that gorgeous lamp!
Luci, you're a good girl to be so cooperative and give your beans a break yesterday, but now it's time to climb down out of that lemon tree and show off your bikini on the beach!

Now Miss Luci, I think you should tear your yellow dress and throw it in the garbage... Beach and Lagoon are waiting for you before summer ends!!
 
oh that brought back memories -- that Franciscan Ware Apple plate -- those were our everyday dishes when I was growing up, still have a couple of them, most of the rest got broken in all the moves throughout my childhood

Luci needs to pick those lemons and take them to the Tiki Hut -- I'm visualizing catnip tea with lemon zest --
