Yesterday Luci visited the lagoon!

Another interesting day in our household. Mama feeling a bit ill with the UTI...what a day I had...not a pleasant day...but symptoms finally started to subside around 5 p.m. after a couple of doses of antibiotics and pyridium - at least the pain started to diminish by then...it was torture prior to that!:arghh: UA came back...high RBC's, WBC's and hyaline casts...:facepalm:

Luci had a nice little visit to the lagoon - surprised me. I think she may visit again today - I'm happy to see that the 1 u is enough to take her there...:D

I hope she continues to improve. I'm feeling very grateful today - she came up and sat next to me on the arm of my chair - I'm so glad she's still here with us - I keep thinking about the vet last Fall when he told us just to put her down - how long I would have had to live without her smooth velvety black coat, her purrs, her little warm body, her golden eyes watching me...I know she has her own intentions and ideas...and I love her for all of it..:bighug:

Now it's time to snap out of it and go clean that LB..and watch the clock all day for the next test...and...well you know...the whole drill of taking care of a diabetic kitty...I think it makes us love them more...:kiss:

So sad to read of other kitties who are suffering...and hoping, hoping they get to feeling better too. And the GA's...just breaks my heart every time I read of another crossing the bridge. We may never reach remission...and sometimes I really don't care...it's just such a joy to have a happy...healthy looking...although she's got her FD...beautiful Luci around...I wouldn't have it any other way...
:joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful:

Sending healing vines and prayers to all those kitties here in L&L land...:bighug::bighug::bighug:

It's great to see Luci is doing so well. It is so sad that vets recommend putting a cat down just because they have FD. People wouldn't do that to human children.

I'm glad you are doing better with the UTI. I hope it clears up quickly. Sending prayers.
