Good Morning LL! (YUM! I Love coffee!), and Happy Sunday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Lola and Bug are very busy getting ready for Ollie's OTJ Party. We are all so excited for Ollie! He did it! He be a green kitty forever now. GOOOOOOOOOO Oliver! We are on our way to help celebrate. SWEET! so. well. anyways. Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....... SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride.

I hope everyone had a great Caturday. Mine was catch up day, and I did get alot done, bills, laundry,shopping, all the fun stuff! I also managed a couple of short walk/hike too, all local stuff. We had clouds in the morning, but by afternoon the sun was out, and it turned our to e a very nice afternoon. I think we reached 72, with sunny blues skies, and a very nice sunset. Here are some photos that I took while out and about: More Meadowdale.... I really do enjoy that walk/hike. The trail is nice, follows a creek down to the shore, and then one has the views of the San Juan Islands and the Olympic Mountains, from a nice, but rocky, beach! It's a great place.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! The kitties have been good kitties today, just very playful. We didn't have any dirt piles, or torn papers, or any scattered toys. We did ave however, alot of running and chasing. :lol: :lol: Once again, I had a chicken ceasar salad for dinner last night, along with some mighty fine pizza, and Bug decided that he was entitled to the chicken that was in my salad. I know I wrote about this last week, but it still holds true today. It was such a Mannie moment, as he did that all the time: sit right next to me, paw on the leg, THAT look, and a few very soft meow's, and would bite into and take the piece in his mouth. Bug did the exact same thing the week before, and again last night. What a trip down memory lane. Thanks Mannie for teaching him how. Bug has also started sleeping in Mannie's bed. This is new within the past couple of weeks. It's really kinda nice. I see so much of Mannie in him. I have no "LOLA!" stories today. She's been a good girl. The most "OMG!" I can get is that she's back to climbing the rack that holds the fireplace wood. It stands maybe 4/5 feet tall. Up she goes, burrows in at the top of the log stack, hides in the plant that is next to it. So so LOLA. :lol: :lol: :lol: Too darn funny! You gotta love it.

Have a great day everyone. I'm not too sure what will be today. My son will be by for breffis, and then who knows? I hope for a hike, but will need to see how much time I have, and if that is even possible. The weather is rather iffy today anywyas, so we shall see.

ETA: forgot to mention.... I finally got a copy of Elsa's labs. I had to share: her BG was a glorious green 75. SWEET! no FD for her. YAY!

Hurry Lil Bit Pit! Hurry! We gots a party to go to! And not enough time to get started! So hurry. Grab those scrawny little uns and let's get movin! Ollie is waitin and well you know how he gets! I've got the jet all gassed and ready, we just need the coffees and pizzas on board so we can get to the party bus!

We can even make your deliveries on the way. I gots little parachutes that we can use and drop the coffee and cronuts over the houses of the beans you deliver to! Hopefully they will catch them and not miss! :lol:

Hi Mishelle. Glad you were able to enjoy another hike in your beautiful surroundings. Isn't great how Bug is doing things like Mannie. Makes you wonder if Mannie is there in spirit guiding him and teaching him what makes mammabean happy. Lola sounds like a little explorer and bit of a dare devil. A 4'-5' stack of wood is a huge mountain for her to scale.

Hi Rachel thanks for the visit! Hey - thanks! I am glad too. Bug is turning out to be very much like him. it is so nice to see: a gentle reminder of what was here: all good and welcome associations. And yes, things do get a bit crazy with young cats in the house. :roll: THX on today!

MAUI! GF! OK.... I am in super hurry mode. big time! I so know on Lola and Bug. They is getting altogether that they needs for the pies for Ollie's party. I hope we have room for it all. I tolds them that they have to pack careful and all... after all we do not want a repeat of the "jet incident"... See ya in a jiff! I hope Tess has the party bus ready. oooooooooo! We best make sure she is awake.... :shock: OOOOOOO! I lilies the little parachute idea. Mega cool. oh wow... they had best catch them.... what if they miss? oh oh.... major mess then. we better put a low speed on the 'chutes! On my way! ~~ Elsa, so waiting to fly the jet....

Hi John Hey thanks - the hike locally here is a nice one: woods, creek, sea... really nice for being so close to home. it is always y back-up place to go. I so agree on Bug, and tha mannie-isms. it is really nice to see. They look alike somewhat too. I think Mannie is guiding the ship... he saw the temperament, knew it was a match. Funny, when we adopted Bug I think that was of his doing too. Bug was not in the main adoption room. After a minute of thinking the helper there brought him too us. That was an instant hit. Knew he was for us. YES too on Lola - she is one CrAzY kitty, but ever so fun. Nothing gets in her way, including a 4/5 foot stack of wood. :lol:

I hope DS got there in time for breffis. You've already put in a good day by the time the rest of the world is waking up :lol: What a great hike to the beach..and such neat stuff along the way. That caterpillar looks like it might be a monarch in waiting. Kewl!

In the "too weird" dept. I stopped at our custard shop on the way home from shopping today. The flavor of the day was goofy so i looked in the cooler to see what was hanging around. There..right in front of me was chocolate, vanilla, caramel swirl! only 1..just for me! I took it to the counter and as i paid, i asked them to tell Elsa, "thank you from mary". So the girl whips around and hollers.."Elsa..come here.. this lady wants to say thank you" Out from the back comes Elsa..i swear .. holding a sponge! I told her choc, vanilla, caramel was my very favorite and thanks for saving it for me... and did she have to clean up after the kids in the kitchen? She laughed and said yes. "These kids don't clean as well as i like". We had a good laugh, nice hug and off i went.. knowing i'd been in touch. xoxo

Hi Carla Many thanks, and yes we did get lucky, eventually got some sun! It made for a nice afternoon down at the shore. THX on Bug - I love it when he does that. it is so much like Mannie: the ever gentle removal from my fingers. I could not agree more on Lola. :lol:

So true.... I am so well into my day and everyone else is still sleeping. :lol: I wondered on that caterpillar - sure was a pretty one!, ao I had to take his picture. ;-) scritches will be delivered!
