ya, I should have done more testing today, but she is happy that I was too busy lol Had a playdate for the doggie, cleaned out the manure storage/compost area to prep for winter when the horses are confined to the run in area. Trimmed to sets of front feet, sprayed some blackberrys and mowed part of the field.
One day off a week and I think I work harder on my day off then I do on work day!
Tomorrow I am going to drop off Izzy's prescription for new Lantus. We will see just how expensive Tuesday will be
I had the Vet write 1 pen, 4 refills. I am "hoping" Costco will take the Lantus coupon...I finally did get the ID number I needed.
Wish I knew if there was a "for sure" pharmacy here that would accept the coupon.
My me sick to see that I will be throwing away almost 3/4 of $174 vial! Grrrr.

I just got my lev refilled at Costco and they told me the discount from my membership was more than the discount cards.
Maybe Izzy will see some green tomorrow.

Yes Marge that is what they told me when i bought my first vial. I signed Izzy up for the $25 Lantus program...hoping it flies. My luck...it will be a $ 250 day.

Not sure how long it will last or how to tell if it's losing its effectiveness? its been open since 7/1 so it's almost 2 months old. Even if I hang on to it another month...it;s still pretty darn full!
I've heard of some people here using their vials for 5 months. I only used a vial at the beginning, and used it for 3 months. The one time I know I had a cartidge go toasty on me (it had been on a long road trip in the heat), I was seeing higher flatter numbers than I expected.
