Ugh on that PS!!!! Looks like DH got the joos in the cat today, thank goodness! Cinco has no clue he missed it last night. He is feeling soooo much better. The eye is open almost all the time now, instead of squinting or closed, and getting it open to put the drops in is easier (not that he cooperates any better, it's just that the eye isn't as resistant and the third eyelid is no longer visible). Before we went to Reno, he spent all his time on the floor in front of the sofa, just laying around being miserable. Last night he was up on the furniture again for the first time since this started! Right now he is sprawled in the middle of the family room floor, without a care in the world (except for that stupid party hat).
Hopefully, that will come off a week from tomorrow when we see the OV. I really think it could come off before then, but I'm not going to make that call, so he'll have to just tough it out. At least his appy is good - he inhaled every crumb we offered him, at both breakfasts and his +5 snack!
Sasha goes back to UCD tomorrow for her post-radiation check, and then we make the appt to see the medical oncologist about chemo. She is doing so well, I wish we didn't have to do anything else, but I know it may be necessary. I had to put a t-shirt on her last night when we got home, as the vest needed to be washed after the car-sickness episode. She still had it on this morning, so I guess she didn't feel the need to pull her Houdini routine. It's a bit cooler than the vest, so I'll leave it on until I see signs she's trying to get out of it or messing with her neck, which isn't quite as covered as with the vest.
Harvey is still a little extra needy after being alone all weekend and enduring the earthquake. He and Minka both have mega appies this morning, like Cinco, and can't get enough food. I am feeling very mean as they follow me around begging and I am not giving them any more. I will break down and give them a snack when I check Cinco at +7. They both have access to dry food, by the way, but that is apparently not what they are in the mood for!
Well, off to get the bags unpacked and laundry started. I always wash every stitch of clothes we wear in Reno, as it comes home reeking of cigarette smoke.
Sending healing vines to all in need, and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG:
