Yesterday's interesting experiment

I can't say I'm happy to have the flat yellow cat, but in another way, I'm thrilled to have a flat yellow cat!

At least it's not a bouncy white cat!

I'll have my radar up tonight...I know about flat yellow cycles leading to something more exciting. Will just have to see what happens from here, but I can't thank Julie enough for the idea yesterday. So far anyway, it seems to be working to stop that darn bouncing!

4am was awfully early, but I'm working her back to her usual 6am shot time 15 minutes per cycle. I'm not changing a lot of her food's carb level...figured for now, changing one thing at a time might be a better idea so if anything worked, I'd be better able to figure out why...so far, it's really looking more like just the early shot doing the trick more than manipulating carbs

I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but "Thank you for a flat yellow cat! I can work with that!!"

This does look like a different type of cat! At least late nights won't be so late tonight with the early shot.

I grow my catnip inside my solarium in a hanging basket. It gets good access to sunshine and the cats can't get to it.

Hi Chris.

I hope you are feeling better today. I didn't get to read yesterday's condo, so just went back and did - very interesting ideas. I'll have to keep them all in mind for Cinco when he's being goofy. He's not as bad as China, but he can get pretty off track. Of course, it doesn't help when we do fur shots and change his schedule! :roll:

Good luck with the rest of the experiment. I hope you can get China to some sort of reasonable cycle again.

Well, other than the bean forgetting we were on a new schedule, China's still a flat yellow cat!

Went to take DM to the bank to get some papers notarized and then she started adding places to go, so by the time I finally was heading home, looked at the clock and said "OOPS!!"

Not bad late...shot at 4pm yesterday, 4:15am this morning and instead of 4:30pm tonight, was 5pm, so I get to sleep in tomorrow until 5:15..Woo Hoo!! :lol:

I don't know yet what this experiment will show, but it sure has put a skid on the bouncing for the moment anyway. I know there's no guarantee things will stay this way

It still amazes me that after all this time, China's changed things so much!

Thanks for the visits today! Hopefully we'll have a quiet night, but with flat yellow cycles...well, you know!

There's been many a time I would have been happy for a flat yellow cat. Of course, as soon as I have one, I think "I'd like a flat blue cat." :lol: :lol: :lol:

Well...as I figured, it's been a busy night after all that yellow....now the interesting thing is going to be if she bounces again like she had been doing, or can hold a surf a little longer this time

Would sure love to see a blue or green AMPS! (anti jinx)

Will probably have a good idea in another hour or two if she does like she had been doing and bounces right back up soon after nadir

At this point, I'm not even going to try to guess!

I had to come check in and see how China did with the early shot. Great to hear it's gone ok. And here she is back in green! Woot! And no pink today!

Yeah Julie, all in all, I was really happy to have her flat yellow last night and today without the wild dives and bounces for a change!

We'll just have to see if she has any more tricks up her paws to throw at us or if this will settle her down again

I miss the "old" China

Well I'm not really happy with the +8, but will reserve judgement until AMPS

Pretty frustrated with my doctor's office....called them today to ask about the fever and got a recording that they were out of the office and if it's an emergency, to go to the ER...well I'm not going to do that, so I guess I'll just try again tomorrow but keep taking the Keflex in the meantime.

Guess I can go on to bed though! 5am will be here in 4 hours!
